i have 88 str and 157 int
63% phy balance and 80% magic balance

and im lvl 42
im i a good hybrid int? i use s/s

Switch to spear, keep these balances, and you'll be a great hybrid INT. Your current balance is low for a S&S.

Two options here: either go full INT from now and keep using a S&S or keep your current balance as it is and start using a spear

Nah don't go dual build. It'll mess you up big time, and you have to give up defense (generally people sacrifice ice for dual) just to have some extra attack skills. If you max spear, s/s and light only, you'll have no mag def buffs, and only a lvl 30 phys def buff. That'll be horrible in pvp. You should just go with spear, and keep steady your current balance. S/S won't work with well with the balance u have at the moment, if you wanna stick with s/s you're gonna need to pump alot of INT from now on.

i dont understand why dual will mess up big time.
dual have there knock down moves and stuns.
there hybrid int so they have good phy def and higher hp.
there have extra hp from heuskal.
they have a sheild that blocks and lowers attake when get hitten
they still have snow sheild and ice buffs that will help.

seems like dual is ok to me

if int build dont have snow shield, they die easily, no mather how hybrid they are. a decent hybrid s/s with high snow shield can tank 2-3 people without any problems.

Adding to what Kondo said, since you're a rather heavy hybrid build, your mag defense will be low, and it'll stay low without any fire buff. A friend of mine is 80ice 80light 80heuksal, and a 3:1 hybrid. I'm a 2:1 hybrid. Majority of the time I will win pvp, because I have fire buff that can take on his higher int power, but even though he's in garments, he can't tank my lower int power because he has 0 mag defense from buffs.

Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not dissing the dual build. That's what I build my character for during the 70 cap. But now since the new 80 skills are out too, you can't afford to drop defense so you can knock down once every 2 attempts. The way I see it, when you're using kd, you're just prolonging your health, not really draining ur opponents', because a heavy hybrid int s/s won't kill very quick. Also, with no mag defense buff, and a lv30 ice buff, and on top of that a heavy hybrid build, your snow shield will drain MP as fast as a pure str glaivier would.

That's my 2 cents ^^ Hybrid int s/s/s USED to be a really cool build to do, but now it has become rather hard to keep. My advice is to choose just one weapon depending on the balance you choose to keep. If you do choose the s/s/s build, good luck with it.
