Hey, bit of a noob here. I have a lvl 14 blade/shield and was going for a 1:1 ratio with fire/ice thinking of getting lightning for extra speed. Now, after getting some ice I want to make a pure str build.
Will this work at higher levels? I'm not going to get hardcore into this game but I want to be able to hold my own with the jobs and PvP.
My basic gameplan is to use the ice bolt to slow the guy down, run in with fire and blade combos until the frost effect begins to wear off. Then switch back to ice until frozen or slowed then switch back to fire for more damage. Will this work for pvp? Its killer for pve. I took a giant archer bymyself using like 2 healing grapes. The ice kept it frozen and soo slow b/c the blade would hit it so much. PVE this works (so far... only lvl 14 ><), but will it work PVP?
PVP gameplan is to frost the guy and basically its like a war of atrition. I keep them slowed / frosted and just keep pumelling b/c i dont do so much damage. Also I heard that u can cure frost/frozen with a pill? Is that right b/c thats gay and would totally mess up my build for pvp lol....
