Rogue Dagger only! is that smart?

Ok im new to xian and this game.. I just started my character on xian _NoobStyle_ and i am making a rogue.. has anyone just made a plain rogue dagger only with no subclass? if so how is it? Thanks for you imput and help.

It isnt that bad really. Rogue with only xbow could be a problem (in party play, other players would hate you for kb, kd too often), but rogue with daggers only works well enough.

Since its Xian I doubt there will be many partys so lvling with only daggers will be a little hard. I still would get xbow also if I was making a rouge. You should wait for Hera to come and go only daggers if you want since there will be more partys

You don't have to depend your build partys................

A nice rogue build is daggers/xbow and sub cleric, but yes ofcourse you'll need to farm abit, but I just wanna tell you that you can take xbow to level to 40 and than farm there... then get all the dagger skills and cleric is goood cause you have Recovery Division what will work same likes as the autopot that adds an amount of HP every 5 seconds! Very usefull and then you have Bless Spell what gives you Phy + Mag defense

ya ive tried pure dagger rogue, it gets really hard tog rind after while. so xbow grinding and then getting daggs would be better though xbow is still easiest to grind with

thanks.. but i dont want xbow at all. nor do i want to get all the exp for xbow.. I dont like it takes to long to fire off a shot and its slower then chinese.. im already lvl 40 i got powerlevl at ongs to lvl 40.. i got prick now and its very powerful. I like daggers only.. i tryed xbow and i dont like it.. as for cleric as a sub.. what skill do i get and please explain why and what that skill does.. That would help me out alot.. thanks

well i think's its better to get both weapons..dagger for pvp and xbow for grinding but whatever.it's your char.

the best cleric skills you need:

bless spell (drastically increases your def and mag def for 45 seconds)
holy word (pretty much makes all warlock curses useless)
recovery division (heals your hp for 5 mins, very useful while pvp/uniques)
recovery (one time heal...maybe when your grinding)

you might also want to consider:

resurrection (to res ppl)
