Pure Str Lightining Glavier

Hi there I'm pretty new to the game.

I was searching for some data about str glaviers, but only found people advising ice and fire as the main element. Does Lightining suck that bad?

Would it be ok to use Lightining imbue? Or maybe its skilltree besides the parry?

I was thinking about building a character that would be a litle different... but i just dont want it to be too weak if compared with other builds.

Please let me hear some comments about the idea.

Lightning is better as a support tree for Glavie, because its buffs, although helpful, other than Grasswalk, it won't be as effective as the damage buffs from fire.

its good for PvE though, a light glaiver.. draws alot fo freaking mobs to it, and tanks them all

It won't be too much different from Fire Glavie, since if the mobs are aggro, they'll be attracted far before they're in the range of transfer, and transfer is based on magic damage, so it'll only be a few damage.
