There's a guide that didn't got the publicity it deserved. It was the Pure str fire glavie guide from Im_on_56k which was very detailed and had everything it needed. Very clear guide no bs , I'd rate it 10 times better than Fly's guide which is actually pretty crappy imo he doesn't know anything about builds but a blader. He's also stuck in his 150/100/50 idea and claims to have info from koreans, however every korean has 4 masteries so he's just saying b/s

Edit http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=3866&highlight=glavie
is 56k's guide which deserves a sticky

I could make a general build for Pure Str/Glavie, but it won't be as indepth with descriptions and such like 56k's; However it will cover more options.

You mentioned something the other night about a post. Unless I misunderstood.

At any rate, your more than capable of putting INT builds together that are not the standard "sp farm until you die dual nuker".

...

Your also active in this section. (^_^)

As for 56K's guide, it wasnt brought to my attention. I will look into that one.

There's a Korean nuker build, its basicly Heuksal+Lightning only until you hit cap, then you SP farm like a mofo and get Fire, and whatnot.

Made a Pure Str Glavie guide. It's sort of short, and it isn't flashy, but IMO it gets the job done.

It would be nice if everyone used a standard layout...eg: is everyone did their guide in cuchulain's form. It seems to be the easiest to read and understand.

Err Shiz , i'd hate to burst your bubble here buh .. POP !! eh oops
Thats not a build thats a guide on how to lvl cap a full int or int heavy hybrid supah fast , after that you aply your build template and farm like a mofo indeed

thay do it that way couse any smart full int or int heavy hybrid would take lightning anyway's
all thats left to do is take a new imbue if you do not plan on keeping lightning as main imbue at cap , small price to pay for supah fast lvling

anyway's
i typed out a small build guide thingy '
dont get your hopes up i suck at putting my thoughts on paper tho ^^

You did just fine.

Thank you.

Now we need a universal 'title' format for the stickies, to make it more organized.

If needed I can move stuff around in mine, I did it in Word first (hence the minimal number of typos).

I would like to make a guide, but i'm not high enough yet.

What i'd like to see was that there was a special "build guides" categorie, or that they were placed above anything in the guide section, since there are way to much other things to keep it clean and fine.

For the form:

Topic's name: Build/Weapon/main/sub

F.E. : Pure STR-Glaive-Fire-Light

Yeah, except I think that's getting a little specific for a guide. A guide should explain all the skills and their uses so the player is more informed on what they might want to use rather than giving them a cookie-cutter build and having them copy it exactly.

I think all build guilds should have some standard title.

But I'd like to keep the 'name' in as well, for credit purposes.

Hey Ryoko, what if you just sticked a link to a page that would have all the guides in html format? Of course someone would have to volunteer to make that page, but it would be nice and tidy. Something like, guides.silkroadforums.com

I could make my guide into an html format. it'd be easier that way for me since I could just link from other forums to te guide instead of having to copy and paste every time I update it.

Maybe make it so people can edit their guides or at least submit updated copies would be nice.

I'd like to see a SRF site ^^

Maybe with guild profile pages too?

Naw

We do that on TH.net for the tutorials.

A) Its easier to edit your post
B) People can comment on a post
C) I can pull the html from the post ANYWAY, without you writing it.

:D
