Great, I'm a rogue...If all ints loose fire, they're just sitting ducks

Besides, why are there some guys thinking that with snowshield you can tank like you're a pure str...You can't. Even though you'll have a lot more hp, you still don't have the defense as a pure str.

(oh yeah, pretty useless topic, but just wanted to give all the pure int guys some thoughts about loosing fire )

But to indulge: Ints can tank better than some pure strs with snow shield on...I haven't the faintest idea what you're on about. Yeah, sure they don't have the physical defense as a pure str, but then again that's obvious as adding str to your stats ups your physical defense, and Pure ints...well, I hopefully don't need to say why that's that. This argument is comparable to pure strs can never nuke as hard as pure ints...it's just obvious why.

Wrong, u will have more mag def, even if you go armor. And phy def will still be ok. At lvl 90 cap all str will drop their ice. So pure int with ice will have about the same phy or maybe more than a pure str in garments.

im a rouge too, and a i have an int char which is taking ice.

it will make no difference, substituting the fire defence for cold is good, as cold is getting new skills and new mana shield at 90 cap. which will even out the defence issues.

so whats the use of upping fire then? flame body buff? u dun need phy attck increase... fire protection? int has high enough mag def...
ice is a must for int...try going w/o ice and see how int fare in pvp

If they learn Icewall, rouges are pretty much doomed. Firewall for wizards.

Yes. if you pvp'ed any youd understand.

try fighting a nuker your level when he has mana + ice shield on, particularly if hes an s/s nuker. This combination is the downfall of rogues as they ruin your normal 1 hit attacks.

...You do realize ice has p.def buff on top of mana shield. If anything they would be weaker against wizards by dropping fire. And by weaker I mean about the same defense. Not that having mana shield and guard of ice helps anyway...rogues still 2-3 shot them.

And that is when you know that something is wrong with Rogues! And if they did take Fire and Wore Armor then they would have both lower Phy and Mag defense then a Cold nuker with Garment.(And lower Mana Shield)
