I think it's safe to say that when training as a warlock, you will probably spend half your time in berserk. Basically one out of three monsters gives an orb, and when you train on monsters around the same level as you, your killing speed is really fast. One time I came out of berserk and gained three berserk orbs in a row xD

I also think that it has something to do with the dots. Most orbs i got from one mob was 4.

I have a theory that if you fight a monster for a bit longer and more at a time, you will gain beserker faster. Meaning if you are being ganged by a Giant and two Regular monsters, you'll gain a bubble faster than fighting two regular monsters and then fighting the Giant. A Warlock helps support this as he is using DoT to fight different set of monsters, which allow him to gain beserker faster.

Also, if you ever notice that a group of lower level characters fighting you in PvP and you kill them or if you fight in a long pot fight, you gain beserker quite fast. I tend to use this to build up beserker mode in order to hunt Unique Monsters.

You guys can help me prove this by going out and trying it. It has worked for me so far.

If you look carefully, you can see that that zerk just ended, and I just finished killing another giant before that one XD..

So what's your points. You're lvl 29, taking mobs lvl 28...that ain't something special to kill 2 giants...

My record is 1 lvl higher mobs: 2 giants, 1 party champ and 1 normal party mob...All within berserk. This with crappy equipement and only a +3 weapon. Yeah, I know, I was real lucky. I'm a rogue and hitted crit after crit

Anyone who can beat me? Would be funny to start a topic ;-)

Point is how fast I got the zerk, not how many mobs I killed in it.......

Well, if you actually looked at the pic better and looked to see the chat in the pic, you'd understand how the pic reinforces this hypothesis...this isn't some 'how leet is my char' thing... and starting a topic based on that would be foolish

Shows how much you know about euros. Those are warlock debuffs on that giant and he's got warrior skills open. He's warrior/warlock, which is why he is posting in the topic in the first place.

After training warlock a while, it so fun to zerk some many time in 2 min. The thing that is quite pissing me off is that warlock wep broke easily when using too many skills.

i think its because the DOT stays on the monster after it dies so its like you are getting the last hit over and over which would cause you to get more than one orb per kill at times

Yea it's true that warlocks gain zerk SO fast, but, I don't know if anyone has noticed that warlock rod's durability is going down really fast.
That's the balance of this class.

I always bring a second rod with me. :)

Mmmm... I was talking to Mefra ... its impossible to tank that much with rogue ...
Rogue cant even tank a giant ...

Anyway ... I should be on topic .. yeah indeed .. I started Warlock on Venus (just to see how's it going with him) and I must say I'm suprised .... its really awesome build and yeah ...
I got few times 2 zerk balls from one mob , even 3 from one :)
