Hybrid spear 5:1 or 7:1?

Hi all i was wondering if i would make Hybrid spear:
1st: Is this a good desicion?
2nd:Should i go 5:1?
3rd: Or should i go 7:1?

that means spear 5:1=(equal)=sword 7:1
Use lighting imbue cuz you will need to stun more since your def and hp are low
aslo wear pro. gear with nice stamina and str. bonus

I would do pure int and max out Snow Shield so you can stay alive and tank. You will deal massive damage with this build.

If they got less then 2critical on their weapons you could beat them.
Next time u pvp try it with someone with equal EQUIPMENT* not some retard turk glavier that just finish'd using Tb0t and max'd 3 skills(farmed)....

Sure you can tank...with snowshield. As soon as it runs out you gotta hide in safezone till it is cool downed, or you gotta use a shield or something. Pure int spear in garm/prot without snowshield and sun (just normal +4/5) are 2 hits or 1crits for me..and I think 1hits for other pure ints lol (but they have the same problem).

You can go pure int spear with snowshield (I see a few on Xian and they're good) but they can only fight for 2 mins..stand around for a min and then fight for 2 mins again >.>

thats because glaive has the most hp and the highest dmg from pure str (non crit wise) I think hehe, I right about the hp tho xD

spears are only good for 1 vs 1, if two 2 or more people on you = dead.
But i would recommend s/s because you get crazy defense and you have bleed, division, and impotent to help you kill faster.

wow man....noone here can tell me that spear isnt good....im a spear and i own about everyone my lvl (69) and some lvl 70.... im hybrid of course but with bloody snake storm and snow i cant tank a little bit... heres the routine for me.....btw the people i duel have +3 gears and up....so for pure ints i sss+nuke usually kills them ...if not then i sss+nuke+ghostspear then spirit crash.... and for glaviers nuke+nuke+sss+ghost spear ...glaviers are usually the more of a challenge for me but with bloody snake storm and snow...pure ints lvl 69 only hit me for like 2.5k or 3.5k very low.....

Sure you can kill kingpin, but thats why you are hybrid -> higher health but still nice dmg.

OT btw: you should go 5:1 for spear, like someone else said..7:1 is more a sword balance

well duh... if i was pure int i would defintely 100% go s/s very strong at cap...... but i made my char by mistake... and it seems to work well for me...because i do decent nuke dmg but my phys dmg is pretty high too..

Alright..Farmed and cap glavier, full +5 garment set 5 Str/Int,+7 glavie with 9 crit. vs. A full farmed pure int Spear +5 prot set with sun shoulders and +9 spear, lvl 70 Snow shield.

And now, dont bloody tell me that the glavier will win. NO! He won't because I have done it many times.

With snow shield anything is possible, this build could tank farmed glaviers without snow too, before new skills got implemented.

And alittle numbers for you. My friend who has 5 sun garment parts(without hands) and 2 accs, has taken 12k-13.7k nukes from me. Average is still 10k though.

I think you should be asking how much mag balance you should have not ???:??? you could got with 9:1 cause someone said its good but bam it screws up your balance, and you can't even stay alive long enough to even fire a nuke which won't, even if'd fired, be strong at all.

im 2:1 ratio spear with protector and 80:85 mg balance almost full blues.

I like my build because I can hit pretty hard and still take some hits. Like someone said above, you might not be able to tank more than 2 people tho. So you have to learn how to play your build. I usually combine with a blader when jobbing amd we work together as a team to won thiefs regularly.

So really, its up to your own taste. Take into consideration pvp when cwearing cape, is just for bragging rights. Its how fast you can kill monsters to lvl and how you job that makes you good.

They just can't understand that a pure int spear cant tank a farmed enemy even with sun protectors, its simply impossible(Except for the bladers ofcource -.-). I can say for myself, that I doubt that I can tank a farmed +7 glavier with good crits even with a sun protector set without snow. But I can tank glaviers who dont got the new skills

I would recommend not to get Snow Shield 50 %.. Your gets so easily drained. Go 80 fire, 70 Cold, 70 Light, and 80 Heuksal
