hey i am lvl 29 pure int s/s i saw a lvl 32 xbow pwning a lvl 35 pure int s/s, that's why i changed my mind to be a xbow but i wanna know if they have good skills or good at later lvls, from the guides i see they have less skills than chineese but wat do u think i should be and wat will be good for pve and pvp? i don't like one thing about euro chars that they have pot delay
so i need some help!!

Well, there are a lot of guides for a rogue here on the forum, so I ain't gonna describe the skills. Anyway, the most favorite characters of mine are the rogue and the pure int s/s. Didn't had them very high, so there might be some people who know this better.

A pure int s/s is way more versatile than a rogue. It can do almost everything well in silkroad, while a rogue is limited. Offcourse he can also do all the things, but he can't do them all very well. As for one, don't try to get a giant or pt mob when you're not absolutely sure that you can kill it within 30 sec till 1 minute, cause else you'll probably already get mobbed and everyone knows that when a rogue get's mobbed, he's dead.
Don't listen to guys who say that you can switch off xbow xtreme or dagger desperate (unless perhaps when you're on a job with a camel/horse). My experience is that you'll die even faster with that switched off. Why? Cause then it takes a long time (you're basicly somewhere between a blader and a glavier, but without a shield) to kill a mob and you'll get hit often. Especially when you get mobbed you want to kill them fast (or run and turn off extreme).

Anyway, as you're lvl 29, I would suggest you to go till you get the nukes and see if you like it. I for one should have done that also

A rogue is great, so is pure int, but as a rogue, be prepared to die a lot and it's quite boring untill lvl 40 (especially untill lvl 20)

Oh yeah, by the way, a rogue beating a pure int at such a low lvl...Well, that says like..uhm..nothing
The pure int may hope that he can hit 1 nuke, cause otherwise he's dead or being knocked back. Besides, even before the euro-update a bower was the worst enemy for a pure int (as far as I know), so basicly a rogue xbow isn't much difference except that it hits harder but much slower.

Hey, i have a lv 44 rogue and a 71 nuker s/s with masteries 65. Well first of all just to reply to the post above; I have skilled Bicheon so i can KD ppl at a chance of 50%, have ironwall and can slide. With that combo i can do my KD attack before the first shot of the bow even hit me. When i am low on hp i use ironwall and i am save for 15 sec. By the time Bows of my lvl will bea dead because of their low def.
Now to get back to the main topic. I quit my rogue cause PVP is not as much fun as u would think. U r able to kill almost everything when u r invisible and the opponent hasn#t got a clue about what will hit him. Prob is he will after u killed him. So what he will do is stand up and kill u 1 hit^^ Or 2 he doesn#t even have to buff. I think thats really boring killing 1 shot and getting killed 1 shot. And in a 1 on 1 fight Euros have a prob when the chinese one is fully buffed. So i would suggest Pure Int S/S. It's also easier to lvl since your survivability with chinese chars is a lot higher.

but wat if u r not farmed and u will have like 5 gaps that will be boring right and every other players in ur lvl will be stronger than u? wat do u think of that?
