So a few days ago a friend quit and gave me his character, it's a level 80 s/s nuker with average protector set +3/+4, 3tier. A +5 sword and a 3 shield.

So why am I getting owned at level 72 mobs..?
Is this what happens to pure nukers at 8x..? I mean the ones that won't waste 1000 bucks on a full SoSun set?




I now feel like quitting my pure int spearman...

You dont have any blues on youre set? It looks like it with youre low hp and youre low % balances.

Reason could be anything from bad/not-blue protector set to bad skills. IMO, best combination for full int would be protector + s/s, definitely NOT garment + spear. If anything, downgrade your mastery and start farming rather than starting all over again, it'll save you a lot of time

hmm.. Thats just weird.. Best explanation is that you don't have any str or hp on your cloths. Cuz you shouldn't die there. Btw. Your a spear nuker. Got ice? then use snow shield. And use the soul spear/ and ghost mars attacks

I never said I don't know how to play, in fact I don't see many pure int spearman as good as I am with duals in Greece. I just found it funny how a lvl 80 s/s nuker with a 3-tier protector set that's 3/+4 with good blues can get so owned. The shield is bad but it's not that bad

what about the jewels? they matter alot tbh

i suggest using this nuker and just plvl a new character to fool around with, and probably a strength char considering you dont like getting ownd
note:this tactic may only be used if you have 2 computers AND im not saying all ints get ownd but some definitely do

You badly need HP mate... Its such an amazing difference to have a few thousand more...

I don't get how can you mag and phy def be in the 100s? That is like a lvl 20 's defence???

Ok, looks like a slight hybrid to me (why he put a few points into STR is beyond me, but still). The only reason I can figure is your equipment. Could you post some shots of what you're wearing? My lvl 80 s/s nuker can easily tank 5 party generals while using snow shield (and about 3-5 without), so the only reason I can figure is that your equipment needs more work.

i reckon its simply the spawn rate of lvl 72 mobs.

i remember getting abt 8 niya soilders chasing after my horse.

He doesn't have his armor and weapons equiped.

You need lots of HP and MP blues for S/S.

Also what pots are you using and what is your HP re pot %?

Lol.... a chinese dying...I've died on my chinese like twice. I don't even die at isy even with all the mobs on me, and that's with just recovery division, can't see how you would be able to die at snipers, when they used to crit me for 2.5k when I was 72....

Well, try your luck at the mages, but seriously, there is no way a chinese with all them pots would die unless it's item lag or a mob of 4-5 snipers...which it can't be when you 1 shot them.

Post your gears, then we can truly judge WHY your being owned

the old owner put 3 str in it. for a nuker that uses spear should have 20-30 str into for extra hp and def becasue spear has more mag and phy attake then a sword.

my suggestion is go hybrid int for your spearmen nuker becasue you have extremly low phy def. and you'll hit around the same as a pure int sword becasue spear has more damage

ok um i remember using a pure int s/s nuker lvl 60 no blues no + on gears regular armor +3 sword with no blues npc shield
oh yea this character wasnt fully farmed as well
2 nukes i kill a yeti

so u are 80 with semi pimped gears +5 sword and shield
not sure what lvl your skills are
and u cant kill mobs 8-9 lvl lower than u =/
u should be able to 1 nuke them
the math don't add up

Yep buy some 3rd tier accessories and you will stop dying. Either that or put your HP pots back on the bar.
