I'm a 1:7 hyb int spear nuker and I'm wondering if I should take cold or fire. I know that cold is for def and fire is for dmg, but I can't pick which one to choose. My main imbue is lightning.

I would go with fire because it's stronger than ice
but it's gonna cost you a weee bit more of sp

imo with your spear aoe ice would be helpful, as by freezing the monsters mobbing you, you have mroe time to kill them all and take less damage when they are slowed. Also if your nuke manages to freeze them that just gives you mroe time to nuke them and in the end save you hp pots too

I would say cold cold and cold. I have many reasons for that, if you want I can explain them, or you could just look at some of the other replies I have made. Many other people are most probably taking cold.
Cold to stay alive and kill. Fire to die.
Even though with Fire you have more damage (as some people think, not completely true) you make up the damage with the 90 light nukes. If you use only Light nukes and Spear skills the lack of Fire's damage will not be noticed .
Trust me on this one...if you want to.
