My blade questions

I'm starting a new char. My first one became a light-fire nuker, but i seemed boring to me, cause you'll only use 2 or 3 attacks, all the way. Somewhere i read that Blade chars own in PVP, this seemed fun to me. Now i'm having some questions.

1.- Is a blade char even worth it? The opinions are very different. I'm willing to spend some time in it, if it becomes some more fun later on. My biggest goal is to become a great thief. Somehow most thiefs seem glaivers to me. I know this question depends totally on yourself, and what you like, but I would like to hear some opinions.

2.- Is thieving fun? There are so many poppers ATM, which I don't have trouble with, but is there so little 2*+ trading activity then?

3.- The almighty ice/light question... I hate to run around without grasswalk, but I would like to be able to do some PVE still. The ice seems good to me for that. It also is nice for PVP, although there is auto-pill.

4.- Is it worth it to spend money on it? I was thinking to buy a double scroll for the farming, and a monkey to make money!

Maybe i'll add more questions later... But thank you already!

1. Thieves can be anything, as long as you can take down traders/hunters. If you're good in PvP, you'll be good in that.

2. Thieving is boring solo; in large groups with scouts, with organization, its great.

3. Ice sucks for PvP, get Fire.

4. Anything is worth spending money on, as long as you have money and like it.

1. Yes, if you can get through the hard stage (im at it now) of 2x-4x where you need to be constantly SP Farming at stages and always be keeping a gap but in the end you will rule.

2.Im not sure, when i leve to 5x im going to be a hunter because ive had too many bad experiences with being 1* popped.

3.I dont have ice and i dont need it, as shizknight said, it sucks in pvp.

4.Im doing the same tommorow, blader levels slower so i would say it is definetely worth it.

I meant PvE, but whatever, it's subpar at PvP once people figure out what abnormal pills are.

FYI, if you're gonna thieve, I suggest joining a mainly thieving guild. Thieving alone, or in small groups is like... Every time you zerk, you gotta grind an arseload of tigers at ferries or risk getting killed by a pack of peeps.

I'll be searching for such a guild. Is there money in thieving? And are there any other suggestions?

As far as i know, thieving dosent bring in much money usually unless you get like a 4 or 5 star trader down, its more about the exp and reputation.

So trader for the money, and thieving for the fun?

Theiving = Win.

Managed to gank about 7* this morning, perfectly normal, no exploitation of 1* popping mechanics =p

Another 2 questions:

Just got myself a nice Farming bow (SOS+3) and I will start farming today:
How long will it take me to farm 25k, if I can play about 2,5 hours a day.

Another question that seems to be ignored at the Blade guide. In higher LVL's, you will take like 25% less damage due to the block. Will a glaiver deal 25% more damage? Or will it do almost equal damage?

25k it's really too few i suggest you farm at least 40k i know it's hard but it will worth it why do you need so many sp? because bladers needs lots and lots of sp mostly from lvl 60 to 70 in those 10 lvls you waste like what 30k upgrading skills.

If you want to be blader be it from the beggining isn't worth doing the quest later to remove the skills of glavie

But what is the damage difference between the Glaiver and the Blader? And how long will it take me to farm 40k SP?

well when i was low lvl with a glavie sos and a blade sos the diference was almost half than the blade could do let say the blades was doing 12X while the glaive was doing like 17X.

it takes time if you are lucky enough to have the place almost empty will take you around 1 or 2 months with a exp ticket without it will take from 3 to 4 months around that

I'm not going to farm 3/4 months. Point. Best alternative?

Keep a 4 level gap, honestly, its working perfectly on my new character. You could probably manage a 3 level gap but i would stick with 4 for the safety.

Or I can farm 25k and stick with a 2 LVL gap?

You'd need to calculate how long you could go witha 2 level gap by farming 25k by using the sp calculator.
