Fire Mastery At Level 90-100 Cap Is Good!

Ive been told many times to ditch the fire mastery completely and go straight light and ice with Bicheon for my pure int S/S.

However, some of the fire level 90 masteries rock :)

For the next update we will get these.. http://www.konpaku.com.br/silkroad/habi ... &skill=796

and then afterwards these... http://www.konpaku.com.br/silkroad/habi ... &skill=797

Surely going Fire, Light and Bicheon is the best way for a pure int based S/S? i mean i can still get good defense bufs with the ice skills just not my main masteries.

Well, you can get 3 trees to level 100 if you want, which means if you chose fire, lightning, and bicheon you will not have any snow shield. I think that's just a deadly decision, unless you plan to avoid any and all toe to toe fights. If you insist on taking fire to level 100, I would consider getting cold over bicheon, though this would mean not having access to the effect giving chains (which at level 100 are quite interesting).

My current build plans for level 100 are (I have 2 Chinese nuker characters):
lightning 100, bicheon 100, cold 60, fire 40
lightning 100, force 100, cold 60, fire 40
They're nice and cheap on SP, yet give enough snow shield to keep me safe, and enough fire shield to keep me immune.

Why are you leveling force as a nuker ? :?

Vital spot; check YouTube. At level 60 you can reduce physical defense, after level 70 you can reduce magical defense, at level 80 you get impotence, and at level 90 you get division. All with an 80% chance of success (compared to the 20% on the chains). After division I can 2 nuke just about any character. After impotence I can sit back without fear of getting killed.

lightning 100, bicheon 100, cold 60, fire 40

I like this build i may change it to cold 100 and bicheon 60 however. Wouldnt this be a wiser move for a pure int?

Personally I wouldn't bother with bicheon unless you take it all the way. Sure, a 6 BR increase is nice, but most of the other skills become completely useless. Your KD is level dependant, and you'll have no use for your chains either. In that case, just go fire 100, lightning 100, cold 100 or consider the force 100, lightning 100, cold 60, fire 40 build I'll use for my 2nd character.

It's odd, but somehow I can't seem to get myself to drop my effect (especially frozen/frostbitten) immunity, or I'd do away with fire completely.

did u not see that the light nuke does more dmg than all te fire nukes?..

i think 100 force 100 cold 100 light is the best chienese build for now :? :banghead:

EDIT: for a FULL INT s/s that is u can even play around with spears NP

Hmm, I'm thinking of going 100 fire / 100 light / 100 ice, will the lack of no bicheon really matter? Or is dropping fire for 100 bicheon?

I think it will work fine, youve got a maxed out fire+ice buff and a high snow shield

Well i dont see too many pure mage based builds, 100 fire / 100 ice / 100 light so im gonan go for that......of course even at 90 cap i have a little room for error as its not maxed the 300 out yet.

I have a full sos/som garment set for 5d, im coming into 6D now as im level 41 should i drop garms and sell all and try and get sos/som armor/prot?
