hum
fire is good
lightning is if you want an extra nuking damage
ice is good if you want to slow down the enemy and hit him hard(chance of freezing=cancels skills/magics on the spot)
so fire+ice=low, but effective
and fire+lightning=strong, bit less effective then fire+ice
And about nature, its your decision

You can take what ever you want(ofcourse) but you must know, Nature is pretty weak :S
No offensive attacks, if you are the party type guy, go on Nature,if you arnt that type of guy(like i am) dont go on that!

Use Fire for your imbue. Much more damage.
And since you're using a glaive, i'm assuming you're a STR build, or at least STR heavy hybrid, which means you can tank. Therfore frostbite from the ice imbue isn't gonna make that much difference. (This is for PvE - PvP is a different matter)
+1 for lightning.... Grasswalk

For what it's worth, I really do not recommend ice for pure str. It will not help you against exerienced players, as ice will have little or no effect.
Besides, as pure str, your already taking a hit of doing less damage than your nuker counterparts. Use fire as primary, take lightning or force as secondary.
Nukers are not great in PvP, so ice helps them tremendously. It gives them added physical protection, helping them in PvP situations, and ice owns in PvE (not the imbue).

Go with fire imbue.
Your magical damage will suck anyway, so the burn effect will come handy.
The cold imbue can be cool, but I would not use it as a the primary one.
