I was wondering, When warlocks get to lvl 50-60 and get their AoE attacks... are their lower lvl skills rendered useless now that they have their higher lvl attacks?
eg. first book of burn is useless now that you get the second book of burn (which does not require the first book to be maxed at all)

soo is everyskill worth it to be maxed? coz every guide i come across says max EVERYTHING

They aren't new books. All skills on the Dark Mentalist line are separate skills. You may not always want to use AoE attacks. I advise you continue to max the single DoT attacks that you are using.

Also, its easier to get 4+ DoT attacks on a mob with the help of the single attack DoTs.

AoE DoTs attacks can infect a near by mob even if it already has two DoTs attacks on it.

Im planning to just max 2 dots and 2 Aoe dots.
which of the three types are more prefered? and are harder to cure?

Any DoT attacks that causes Dull or Bleed would be a good choices.

what exactly happens to the mob when u use decay and curesed breath?
and i hear they take longer to cast? is that true?

another question:
razes... physical raze and medical raze and combat raze... differences? similarities? what would benefit me? (pure int, mag attack)

I have a question too

Realist, what gap should a warlock run with cleric sub?

Decay and Curse Breath are just like the other DoT attacks. Decay has a chance of inflicting Bleed during the period that it is on the opponent and Curse Breath has a chance of inflicting Dull during the period that it is on the opponent.

Physical Raze lowers your opponent's Phy Def and Medical Raze lowers your opponent's Mag Def. Combat Raze lowers your opponent's Mag and Phy attack power. Courage Raze lowers your opponent's Mag and Phy defense. You would benefit from these skills.

3 gap should provide enough sp if you don't get all the Cleric skills.
