I was wondering, if I was planning to use both daggers and crossbows, hwo would it work with its subclasses? I believe that dagger Rogues more useful subclass is Cleric while crossbow Rogues more useful subclass is Bard.

The Bard subclass provides no aggressive attacks towards the player, and due to the low amount of HP whilst using CE, you shouldn't be attacked AND you shouldn't be touched too much by the monster.

The Cleric subclass provides healing for the dagger Rogue, which will be fighting with melee, so he should be hit more than a crossbow Rogue. The Cleric subclass will provide healing to the dagger Rogue, and help him tank a little more because he has a higher amount of HP and more HP to be healed.

So is it possible to keep Bard at Lv20 until I am Lv40, then de-lvl Bard subclass to 0 and take up Cleric subclass for Recovery Division? I know it's possible, but would it be something worth doing?

If you want to, in my opinion, it is worth, if you dont want, then it does not worth it
Cleric will probably be better for pvping, dunno if the less % in defense of CE and DD affects bless spell, someone do know? But, without bard, you will move really slowly and will not be able to use noise, a very usefull skill IMO. With xbow you will probably not want to be hitted, even in pvp, so i dont know if cleric will be THAT useful with xbow, although if you are using daggers, and bless spell is NOT affected by the -75% defenses of DD, then cleric will be very usefull. I really dont like to run slowly, so i would choose bard instead of cleric(as i prefer xbow over dagger). With bard, you will also be useful while jobbing, with the increasing speed skill, but with cleric, you will probably do better in pvp and also good in jobs, although you will run very slowly.
Summarizing: IMO its totally up to you, both are really good and both will have its own advantages and disadvantages.. Wish there was an way to get more than one full subclass

Well, I plan to start using daggers at 40 and up, but still keep up with crossbow. I won't be using crossbow main, like I am now, but I'll still be using it once in a while. I'm thinking of using Bard until I'm Lv40, but I'm not sure yet. Any more opinions? Thanks for the opinion, raphaell666.

No problem, im glad I could help you. I have thought a little more and i have one question to you: Do you really want to only pvp? Or you enjoy more jobbing? Because, probably in jobbing, there will be clerics, and they will buff you. And probably there will be no bards, so an bard even an half one) would be really usefull. I think that bard untill 40 and cleric after will be really good, although you will spend a lot of money to delevel it. And probably at 40 you will have made your mind about going cleric or keeping bard, so i really think you should do it. Also, when lvling, IMO xbow is much better.

Okay thanks. I think I'll do that and if I don't have a Cleric guildmate or friend by then, I might go Cleric. I'm still open for opinions though.
