Is it too bad to be 3 element chinese nuker?

Hi, i just want some opinions about the char im making, its lvl 30 now and maybe i got so much wrong ideas about it...
Well, the question is the same as the topic: Is it too bad to be 3 element (fire/cold/lightning) chinese nuker?
do i have to develope one weapon maestry? is that better?
there are more problems about beeing pure nuker (withuot any weapon maestry) than the mana super draining techniques?
any link to another topic that may answer my questions is welcome (im not good searching in forums
