How exactly is the critical value of a weapon calculated? Like if I have a crit 10 weapon does it have a 10% chance of doing a crit or is it something different?

Iam just guessing... but it seems like that for me. I was using a 5 crit bow, and 1/4 times on avg I get crit(devil gives +20 crit). So it doess seem like the crit on the weapon = the %. I could definitly be wrong tho.

I think someone had figured out a formula in which the critical was exponentially increasing slowly. I just can't find it -.-.
