so would there be something wrong with going only with weapons skills and forgoing the magical stuff? would i be totally handicapping myself in some unknown way? just curious if anyone had done this?

Yes u would be handicapping yourself. You would not do a lot of dmg. People will kill you everytime.

I would suggest atleast learning the imbunes
They help alot when attacking.

if you go pure strenght u may not NEED imbues or anything else >.>
