pros: 1.better in parties
2. does not die as much as other int builds
3. DoT's
4. debuffs
5. SHIELD
6. skills like reflect which negates 90% of the damage back to the user
7. stun/ sleep
Cons: 1. not as much damage as other int builds
2. weapon breaks quickly
Warlocks hav an advantage over builds like rogue and glavie which has little magical defense and if they dont hav cleric sub that hurt them even more. They basically hav an advantage over build that dont hav status immunity and hav little magical protection.
A warlocks worst enemy is a blader because of kd+ stab, their high defense, and status immunity.
Warlocks dont die as much as wizard because of the shield and they have leech skills.

1. Warlocks are to be feared bottom line...doesn't matter what build you are warlocks are to be feared, the only bad is they can't detect.
2. Warlocks..worst nightmare would be an 2handed Warrior/Cleric with warrior buffs/bless no way you winning this.
3. A good warlock will never die as much as a wizard..o_0 wizards dies 98% of the time due to using Life Control or Turnover...thinking it's the only way they can kill someone o_0...Warlocks don't need such a skill to kill.. it's the only euro build that can kill over and over and over without any buffs..
4. No comment.
1. Damage over time, stun, debuffs. sleep, looks cool
The bads are that they could die fast if you dont know how to play them.
2. Like i stated, you could only go as far as you know how to play. with DOT and stun and sleep. You will become used to playing it so dont worry.
3. Wizards actually die more, warlocks have shield which can help them survive longer.
4. cleric subclass definitely

From a maxed 80 warlock/cleric's perspective...
1. please list the goods and bads.
Goods- Great all around for partys/solo/pvp. Has more defensive capabilities than that of other int based characters, also more flexibility on the battle field and a huge help to wars and such, specially jobbing. Also you gain zerk very fast.
Bads- Other than weapon breaking which can be dealt with easily with dura pimping, holy spell/word can really limit you. Also it will be very difficult to get unique kills over other nukers/damage dealers.
2. if level and gears are all comparable for all builds. which would warlocks have an advantage against, and which build would be a warlocks worst enemy.
Warlocks are great against majority except someone with a cleric sub and maxed holy spell/word will prove more difficult, but not impossible. Chinese fall EASILY, euros depends..
Worst enemy for me has to be xbow rogue, just too far to reach with distance shot and stealth and too slow to get there. Also with high damage and the knock downs/crits, they really get your weak spot.
3. if warlocks are int and dies as much as wizards, would wizard be a better option since they do greater damage?
Warlocks dont die as much as wizards.
4. should i choose wizard or cleric for subclass?
I went with wizard until around 50 wiz mastery. The teleport and invisibility was great for pvp and jobbing alike. The earth fence proved useful but it doesn't last long enough. Cleric is much more practical for all situations in my opinion.
5. warlocks would be best at which of the following - pvp, pve, uniques, jobbing.
Pvp/jobbing. Definantly

I handle 3-4 chinese at one time easily with warlock when I have cleric buffs on. as for against wizards, they have such low hp/defence they can be rid of during a stuns duration. or just pop on reflect and let them kill themselvesmoon.ninja wrote:noobert mclagg wrote:pve and pvp its hard to tell which of those two they are better at.
for pvp, i guess its only 1vs1 there good at.
i have a question i would like to ask as well, if it was wizard vs warlock, is it whoever attacks first wins?
kaboom786 wrote:i saw a warlock with cleric subclass grinding on niya snipers using the cleric buff, body blessing and soul blessing... do these two stay active after switching weapon? i thought only recovery division, bless spell and holy word stayed on....
