Warlock vampire kiss

i was thinking of going warlock as sub for my cleric, but what i wanna know is if i throw vampire touch or kiss on a mob or a player during pvp and switch weapon back to cleric will it still keep leaching hp? or the effect will disappear after weapon switch?

its active skill requires warlock rod and it does absolute damage like trap, absolute hp amount leech

yeah but what i wanna know is if it stays on after i switch to cleric weapon. For example the physical raze effects stays on the enemy even if i switch back to cleric weapon after casting it. any idea?

it isnt something that stays around

it's a normal attk unlike those debuffs or dot spells
