Ok hello,

I am a level 22 pure str bowman in my account in Odin. i think if i want to change i should change now cause my bow level is only 21.

i have thought about it a lot (when i was in the bath room ) and found out i want to change to blader if the blader buff that decreases shield defence and raises phyisical attack comes in the 90 cap. People are saying 90 cap will come in christmas. when the skill comes, it will be easy for me to lvl faster (well.. about for 2 minutes). Plus i found out that the bow does really low damage without Strong Bow series. So i think these are the pros and coms i came out with:

Bow:
Pros-
Range
has good dmg even though i think the dmg is lower than blader
Is kind of fun being able to ks
the bows look quite cool, especially the 8th bow
strong bow has the 350% plus it looks cool
arrow combo is like lion shout for ints
has stun and kb at higher levels

Cons-has lower def.
doesn't have stun and kb till lvl 73-75
the 9th and the 10th degree bows are ugly
bows have the same looking skills for every book
dies faster than blade

Blade:
Pros-Shield= extra def. + block chance
fun skills
different looking skills each book (unlike bow)
spamming kd is annoying to receiver.
great def and hp = excellent tanker
fun to grind with (except the fact that after u grind for hours, u will notice u just raised about 10%
can tank high lvls
with snowshield, this build is gonna be very hard to kill
the bicheon buff rocks as it raises ur phyisical att. and lowers uur def.
weapon looks fantastic!!!!

Cons-slowest leveler in the whole game
kills slowly
the physical att. buff only last 2 minutes with (i think) 1 minute cooldown

okay this is the pros and cons i came up with.
please reply cause i put a lot of work into this.

Devil Arrow (Lv 69) will give you a 2nd 350% skill. Bladers are cool; one of my best friends loves being blader. I don't really know much about playing them, but I do know that they level insanely slow. As for damage, one chain might be close to a strongbow (not completely sure, I don't watch bladers much). Chains also get tons of good status effects later, which is plus. Still, unless you are completely prepared to level really slow and watch nearly everyone out damage you... I wouldn't switch. Personally, I'm bow... so you know my vote

firstly, even castle siege does come in Xmas (not likely cuz clash wif Xmas event), 90 cap may not come wif it, its not a given and there is no mention of 90 cap in castle siege

Even if 90 cap does comes wif castle siege i dun thk there will be new skills for 90 cap. thats too much work 4 JM to release everything so soon (we know them )

cSRO doesnt even hv new skills for 90 cap yet, and
Lastly, that bicheon skill requires bicheon lvl 80 and last 120sec so it doesnt help u lvl fast fr 1-80

Yes they level slow, but i do not believe they can't kill anything
I hav a couple blader friends, one is 75. He can kill 77+ with +5 blade and shield. The bleed at 73 wil help u alot and you'll love the chains.

Only a Blader can name themselves "SuperTanker".

Wait until you get Petal Sword Dance, mixing your 3 AoE attacks will make grinding fast.

Blade, for sure. Who doesn't need a supertank?

this is really a decision of playing style because both are good choices...i would choose blade just because blades are better looking than bows and i <3 my blader

I think s/s users will rise with the 5 stab at 90 cap

s/s will rise with the shield -> power buff...

i mean, s/s gets extra power so it matches spear... it gives up def so it's like spear with no extra def... but it can still block

@terminal its 4 stabs

@clot the phy attk buff doesnt require lv 80 its like snow shield

@-.- no the phy attk doesnt help ints ... not even worth sacrificing def for phy attk

Blade= better stronger SLOWER leveling
Bow= a little bit worse needs quavers but FASTER leveling

so its really up to you

There's no better looking wep than 10d bow, imo

Btw, blade VS bow - that's up to you. For me blader is just an awful build - dmg is pathetic, skills look great though

i choose blade because i like blade better. the chains are fantastic.bow is boring for me.u might get bored of bow because every single skill is the same.until u reach 90+ which strong bow changed a little.
hold strings, and shoot every single time its the same.
blader- u slash in different direction lots of stab.

go for dual weapon =P

so you don't need to choose one

A bow has WAAY higher DPS then a blade ffs

And all your pro's and cons about: Bow skills look cool etc is preference, not really a con or pro,

last book of that skill requires lvl 80 bicheon
btw the skill is below sword dance and above bicheon passive

well im lvl 55 blader and yesterday i was lvl 54 and i tanked and killed a lvl 57 archer he had a sos bow too i had full +2 garms and lvl 52+4 blade and +3 shield so blade rocks imo

thanks for all the replies. it seems that bow will be better at cap, but i dont really think i will reach cap. i like cool skills u see, so i will be willing some time to level my blader.

@ the person who said better looking weps and skills is a preferrence: sorry i was in a hurry cause it was 11pm already. for me even though they might be preferences, i look at them like they are pros and cons.

I gotta say blade bec i am too:D + bow skills all look same as previous

how u define better? there is no best build but only best player, u see loads of bows now so u are juz 1 of them

dun think will reach cap? bow only gets the killing skills ie. 5 arrow KB + stun at lvl 70+...so u cant really win pvp b4 that

cool skill? both hv eye catching skills but 1 big drawback of bow:
arrows fill up almost half of invenotry each time u are out for grind

Aww bladers have more..that can be fixed voting now

Sry double post but if whuts his name is right and blader will decrease def and increase atk then bowers better get something good i notice that all weapons have a balance even though they can have thier advantages bow= weak but fast atks and extra def glaive = good dmg but slow atks... bow= mid dmg and range atks and mid fast atks ^_^ so we btr get something good or its flaming time jk =P

Bladers sure rock as soon as they got that stupid chain with stupid statusses or whatever it is called; division, bleed etc.

Bowers rock totally as soon as they get knockback and stun arrow.

Totally comes down on youre playing style. I love to run around and deal nice damage and huge crits. So bow for me, woohooo!

If you like to be able to tank as a mofo, irritate people with youre block and deal decent damage, go blader.

BUT, as said before, just a mather of opinions.

Bladers FTW

IMO, bladers don't grind slow if you're good at it. I've seen some pretty fast grinds on my server. and those bladers are effective grinders. But its way more intense than int grinds, because you are tanking like 5-6 mobs and taking them down all at the same time lol


I like both that's why I didn't vote lol
