Hello,
-How can you survive as wizard? As I am full int I almost die instantly because of the potion delay. I fight mobs 4 lvls below me but if I get a party mob I'm jerked.
-What's the best subclass for a wizard?
-Don't euro chars have imbue?
-DO you need 2 weapons in your inventory? for if I want to use a skill that needs another gun? Can it be npc as it's not my main class?

you really cant kill party mobs or giants your level without a warrior backing you up.
-What's the best subclass for a wizard?
I'd say cleric...it gives you defense and HP recovery skills
-Don't euro chars have imbue?
Nope

Yes if you have a sub class. Yes. Why would it need to be anything other than NPC?

If it's just for buffing you can even choose to use a weapon 10+ lvls lower than you if you want...

On aggressive monsters, grind in moderately sparse areas. Use bless spell (sub cleric) and earth barrier when necessary, and run/turn off life control when you can't handle the situation.
Try and get a pet your own level. They make perfect meat shields and lurers.

Cleric. You can wear light armor and equip a shield, have life-saving buffs (Bless Spell, Recovery Division/Healing Cycle, Heaven Flash), and even possible to do some minor tanking with defense passives (with a cleric rod of course).
Warlock can work well too, since you get Sleep/Stun (AoE at higher levels) and a debuff that reduces the monster's attack. Also, they can use a shield just like the Cleric. It's also useful to spam DoT's on random mobs to clear the way (as long as they die before hitting you), something you can't do as easily with any other classes.

Rogues have a poison imbue skill for Crossbow/Daggers, but that's irrelevant (and an almost worthless imbue outside PvE).

Yes, a NPC weapon will do just fine for buffs.

@ above posts ^
subclass depends on how you play
while solo pve bard really stands out as a subclass with moving march and noise
while in a party cleric is definetely the way to go.. however sometimes euro party's are really lacking >_>

You can, but until you get Group Healing, it's a bit tedious(switching weapons, clicking yourself, then using the spell.)
Once you get Group Healing, you can heal yourself faster. Keep in mind, however, that Group Healing can aggro mobs to you.
Ultimately, though, you won't have a lot of HP as a wizard, so potions should take care of your healing problems, for the most part.

life control -50% of wiz hp to increase mag dmg
and yes chinese char are supposed 2 solo grind while euro party, but u can always solo grind wif warrior/rogue, wiz seems abit risky but u can try on green mobs (or white) and non-aggro, no giants, no champ, not closely packed spots
and about wiz surviving, either get cleric for bless spell or warlock for stun
and dun 4get ur electric knockback (100%) + teleport (rather short dist tho)

Don't use electric knockback when you're trying to escape. It will cause alot mobs more chasing you.
Teleport is very useful to escape

if its for healing, if you get the cleric subclass, then you'll want the best weapon you can find, cuz healing power correlates with wep att

I am a wiz lvl 65 and I have bard as secondary. Speed is the key for me. Get in get out, kill fast on pve. When I pvp I use stealth and fire trap for my first hit and I pick and chose who I want to attack when Im in stealth.

1)Sub bard and keep Noise and Moving Match up 24/7, and you should surivive normal hunting, until a champion party spawns next to you. Make sure you get teleport that helps a lot. Get at least level 1 Charged Wind for knockback
2) Bard
3) No imbue, but damage will never be a problem for you if you are wizard
4) You just need a harp to cast the buffs once in a while. You do not need to switch weapons much.
Extra) Do not bother with Cleric. It does not help when every mob can 100% one-hit-kill you. Bless Spells takes 1-2 seconds to cast, and by then you are dead.

You know there are people here that do grind in a party, unlike you

Actually, I party hunt about 90% of the time. I only solo when I want to get the last 10% to level up or something. When I can't find a party, I ususally rather stall.
If he subs cleric, he will be able to keep allies alive. But his own survivability does not increase by much. I have played with many wiz/cleric, and the ones that survive the best are heavy hybrids (2int 1 str, or even more str). For those who are heavy int, being cleric does not help them much. Of course, the parties I join are usually hard core (e.g. a group of level 60s fighting mobs around level 70), but that is how to level up fast so I think the observations are valid.

If he manages to keep his allies alive with subcleric, he won't most likely die.
Besides that i've seen alot of bard subs and they usually only level up moving march and noise. Clerics are better supporters.
