I'm going for a pure int spear nuker and do I have to get high lvl skill from the spear or save those sp and use it for the nukes (and lion shout)?

Well Being a INT user you would want to get mainly magic attacks, but seeing that you dont get those until you're well into your 20's/30's and on up, it might be wise to build your Imbue level and a few Weapon Skills. Dont over endulge in them though because you would want the SP to get nukes.

You dont get your real nuke until lvl 30, I cant remember what level Lion Shout is...ah well, but anyways

The first Weapon skill for Glavie/Spear is weak to me, and I would probably get it for just the first level and wait till you can get the second weapon skill and the Chain.

I would say just moderately concentrate on your weapon skills while you build your magic because you wont get them too soon so your imbued attacks will have to do.

you would want to lvl spears skills just to get to the 2nd book

plus , your phy ballance would still be better than a str mag ballance
so its not 100% waisted sp

you can get this following spear skills:
Soul spear
Ghost petal

I found them useful.

Just get enough spear skills to keep you happy, not bored and alive while grinding til 30. I capped my weapons masteries at 25 and from then on pumped sp into fire and light respectivly.

so you mean dont get the chain spear and the flying dragon.

I'm making a nuker right now, let me just highlight something for you.

1) He's 25% from level 30, took 2 days, 1 morning and 1 night.
2) No SP farming at all.
3) Has enough SP to get both nukes (fire and light) next level.

What you want to do is get ghost petal and ghost spear. Because you're only adding int your imbue should be incredibly strong, as in 2-3 hit anything your level. Because of this you don't need to invest into anything really.

I put a point into chain because I find it's useful in PvE, same will go for flyign dragon.

What I do suggest is to push to level 20 as quickly as you can, that's where you start shining. What I did is I just got my spear and lightning to level 25. ONLY THEN did I start getting fire. I got enough sp from 1 level of grinding to get my fire from level 1-25. Afterwards I used a calculator to figure out that I needed 1,456 SP to get my fire and lightning to 30 and have enough SP to get both nukes. Then I didn't touch my masteries and let a gap until I had it.

Why am I telling you the story of my life? To make the point that you don't need to SP farm, you don't need to invest heavily into skills, and especially, to wait for the fire tree...unless you're going fire imbue.

cool, thx for that clear up and yea i have both imbue's (maybe was it stupid but ah well) lvl-ing those 2 up. with that 2-3 hit you mean with or with a spear skill?

1 more thing. Do I have to lvl the petal and that other one lol up or just a bit till the nukes?

just using an imbue

I used soulspear on giants and ghostspear when surrounded.

Yeah, get those two skills.
Though most pure ints in my guild go sword and shield due to their low hp they need some sort of lucky lifesaver a.k.a block.

Since I went hybrid int. I went spear to get a reasonable nuke firepower.
I also got flying dragon, soul spear soul and ghost spear prince. Since lion shouts for me are abit weaker I use flying dragon which does around my nuke damage against pure garm ints.

My soul spear truth can stun them if they don't get 2 hitted by my nuke and spear skill.
Even level pure ints 2 hit me. I 2 hit them too.
So the fastest wins...my spear skill speed > their nuke charge.

One last question, how far do I have to pump up my spear mastery? lvl 20/30 or more O_o...how much?
