Hi all,
I am a noob. I am fighting weasels at the moment. I am using all my points to increase my sword skill and learn lighting whenever I accumulate any skill points. I am also using up all my stat points and distributing this equalling between magic and health.

Is this a good idea?

what you're creating is a hybrid character. it's one of three main types of characters: pure str, pure int, and hybrid. look at this giude on hybrids and this guide on pure builds, it may help.
