Clerics fighting

Anyone tried actually grinding by themselves with a cleric...like have a +7 weap or something or u just buff n get xp?

just curious hehe..sometimes I feel stupid just standing there buffing n healing and cant do jack shit with my +3 hehe

u can occasionally do offering if u want to, juz make sure the tanker is pulling the mob b4 u even try

He said grinding by themselves. I dont see why not since you can just attack, bind, heal, attack

...doesn't it only take like 2 cleric nukes to kill a mob? You can simply cross,hit,cross without caring too much about getting hit. And later on, maybe do Justice Cross, Trial Cross, or something of the sort.

cleric solo is the best class to solo. very easy to grind monsters a couple levels higher than you. when i was 30 i soloed a party koroku. took about 10-15 minutes, i didnt die and i got like around 80-90k exp. it was pretty exciting. i think i got to use bless 4 or 5 times during the fight, in between bless's it was the heal that heals over time (to many heal spells, cant remember the names) i dont think clerics should be able to do that, but im not complaining.

oh and i sub bard, so noise = no normals attacking me. it was cool.

I am full cleric full warlock. I find solo grinding boring, though being in a party I switch between warlock and cleric depending on whats going on. As for just cleric grinding, I suppose that would work but my cleric skills do far less damage then my warlock, talking about the nukes no debuffs or DoT's. Besides your a support build and meant for those last ditch efforts(ie offering) to make your party survive.

omg stay alive 10-15 mins with kokorous??? God damit that was hard, but youcan heal yourself too ^_^ IMO it's not worth to stay 15 mins with one mob when you can kill 50 normal mobs at this time... and get much more experience than this stupid kokorou give you. And remember about absolutness damage skills and buffs. I saw cleric that kill very quickly and exp very fast - i dont know it level so fast as umm... wizzard? Or XBow? (really i can level very fast on xbow/cler sub., but i dont have time to play :/ and without any prlvling). Better way is heal others in party then soloing too for cleric

ya i know i could have gotten more exp from normal mobs, but i wanted to see if i could do it alone. i kill mobs my level in just a couple hits, with normal attacking, not using any spells. the damage over time for your normal attack is better than using the spells, maybe start with a trial cross, but finish with just normal attack.

I've done quite a bit of solo grinding with my cleric. Using healing cycle (and soon recovery division, when I get 250 more SP) you have enough healing power, and the spells and standard attacks are strong enough to grind reasonably effective. Since my primary is bard, having noise and moving march also helps quite a lot.
