I'm a nuker, full int, so no doubt about that. I like the nukes, they're slow to build, but look nice when they fire. Look at the animations: they're spells; I'm a mage/cleric!

Then why on earth does it matter what weapon I use? Where's the weapon in the animation? It's a spell! Then why do I deal more damage with the spell when I'm not using my spear than when I'm not using my sword? I know it's a fantasy world and all, but an attempt at keeping things logical would be nice.

1) nukers are fast to build, they level incredibly quick
2) your weapon's damage is one of the variables in the formula the game uses to calculate how much damage you do.

You need a good weapon because when you have a good spear that has a very high Mag. Attck then your nukes will be stronger.

If you're not using any weapon, how could not using a spear do more damage than not using a sword? It doesn't make sense . . .

It doesnt make sense because this is a game. If everything made sense in games the whole industry would go to hell because their games would suck. Except for Tom Clancy..

Spears do more magical damage than any other weapon. If you are a nuker use a spear or sword, end of story.

but sword nukers have more defense heh xD

Because they 1 hit or 2 hit monsters and they have range attack.
Why do Spears do more damage.

Spear = More damage.
Sword = More defense + block
Better weapon better damage, otherwise i'll stay with a lvl 1 sword and a godly shield. Thats the game. Better eq better char.

P.S. If you don't like it send mail to Joymax and tell them to include the weapon in the animation or exclude the weapon from the formula (I don't want the last one )

No . . . the reason it didn't make sense is because why would you do more damage if you're *not* using a spear vs. *not* using a sword? You're not using either . . .

My original answer was that spear is stronger, due largely to its higher max mag. attack and its higher mag. reinforce than a sword. More or less same as what everyone else said. But if you're not using any weapon, why would that matter?

When you cast 1 nuke then another .. the second nuke has weapon in the animation
