Pure int S/S fire/light help type of armour please

hi, i'm doing fire/light because at L80 cap, 60 ice gives me 40% snow shield which is mre den enough,but what type of armour shud i wear? armour? or prot? and should i get combos or they are not worth getting?

I'm assuming you are pure int, with bicheon. Most players with this build would go full prot. I went armor though, because prot is just too fugly for my taste. I did however, kept pimped pieces of prot should the need arises, and a garm set too 
. But if you only wanted to use one set, then go for prot.

ya but i go fire with 60 ice? would prot be too low of phy def? since i have amg buff on fire

Yes it would be a bit low, but snow shield should cover you againts pure str chars. The problem with pure ints isnt the armor type or their defense, but their inherently low hp to tank effectively. So practically, there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to armor choice. Having full armor would render you weak against nukers (you get hit really hard even with your high int stat).
