Cleric. Bard is pretty much useless at later levels.

You need uh....
Faith, Charity, Revive, Recovery Division, Healing, Bless Spell, and Holy Word if you want. Rogue European skill Poison Circle can easily make up for not getting Holy Word, and while Holy Word lasts 5 minutes, Poison Circle lasts 30 minutes!!

Those are the skills that i am adding, they may not be totally preferable to other Rogue/Clerics, but i like them

i chose bard.
For bard u get pretty cool buffs like noise and moving march.

Cleric on the other hand, has good buffs as well, especially for healing.
If the cleric allowed u to buff str/int onto yourself, i would've gotten it.

cleric.
they have a buff that greatly raises your physical and magical defense for 45 seconds. very very useful, and buffs the whole party.

bard will be the most powerful buff in hgiher lvls, because of that last march that will get u to 100%+ movement of speed if maxed, im lv 32 rite now and my speed is 50%, same amount as the scroll, not only that but it has a aoe buff, so u can bbuff your pt members...so choose bard

.. lol.
the movement scroll can easily compensate for that.
and when there are no more, typhoons or other such movement potions can easily substitute moving march.
If you have a 100% moving speed increase buff, then you are probably high lvl, and will probably have more than enough money to spare for movement potions. AND they last for an hour+.
Whereas cleric has HoT's and Defense buffs, Bard seems to be pretty useless to me.
Also, they can even take over the healing role in parties if need be, and they can res whenever they want simply by switching to a cleric rod.

LOL bocong ur just jealous you picked a gay subclass

all bard has is movement that is basically the only useful buff it has as a subclass

cleric offers a plethora of def and atk buffs both for you and your party. movement speed can be substituted by scrolls and potions. immobolize is awesome in pvp...
immobilize + run away + heal/buff = happy Euro

bard also has immobolize...but you can't heal/buff as well as a cleric

Bard is good if you like to PVE solo a lot. Moving march and noise and it work wonders with regular mobs that would normally own the heck out of you. (IE Punishers and Closiers, ongs, anything that is aggro-y)

But I would have to pick cleric. I deleveled bard to add to cleric and I have never regretted it. Being able to res is a big plus already. It speeds up party training by allowing dead party members to come back quickly. Bless spell and healing... speak for themselves. Some things are just too fast to run away from, and heal + massive defense works just as well. Just switch to cleric rod and your DD/Xbow Extreme gets shut off and you begin healing yourself until you're full, then switch back to your rogue weapon and keep killing or scud away. It also really helps in PVP.

also, normally you would find ways to avoid aggroing large mobs of monsters, and instead picking them off one by one

I could usually avoid them but in a few cases it just wasn't possible (Like random spawns of giants, champion party mobs, etc.) :D
I agree that bard is a good subclass though. It just doesn't seem to have as many useful skills as cleric subclass. Moving march can be replaced with the speed potions (albeit expensive). And Scud is very useful in a pinch as another alternative. Noise is awesome but it doesn't stop the giants and party champs from raping the helpless rogues ^_^

EDIT: Plus when I am training with some same-level friends of mine that play China, every time I attack something, everything around it starts rushing towards me. Being able to tank with Bless Spell is awesome xD And ressing saves soooo much time.

Im upping Bard up to lvl 70. Once I hit 80 and finish farming and collecting Curst Hearts, I will up Cleric and delevel Bard. Cleric Bless Spell and other self healing skills can help you tank longer in order for you to get that 11-19k crit on that lvl 80 chinese char. xD

well personally i think bard is pretty worth it.
Sure, only two skills are good (noise + moving march), but both help A LOT. Without noise, i'd get mobbed a lot which obviously ends up in death cus of the friggin POT DELAY :banghead:
besides, u wanna spend a couple 100k every hour?

lol im just saying
you dont even need a speed buff its just something that speeds everything along a bit.
and anyway, you can always find somebody else who is a bard, or has it as a subclass and just have him buff you.
Although moving march is good for speeding up the rate in which you grind, i would still have to say that cleric is a lot more useful because it can heal you over time while you grind, which increases your rate of surviving.

Also, it gives you a 45 second defense buff, which is very helpful, and when executed your whole party receives this bonus if they are in range.

Likewise, you are able to switch to a cleric rod and heal both yourselves and your party members, and in the event of a death, you are able to resurrect them.

Cleric is the top sub for any Rogue in the end. Bard only offers Moving march (get a potion) and Noise (only good for PvE). The only reason why ppl choose bard is to keep the mobs away and to me thats not worth subbing a tree for. If you want more info on sub-classes for Rogues feel free to visit my Rogue Guide in my sig (shameless plug) its full of useful info....

Urgh i don't know, i was going to choose Cleric as if has nt buffs right?

Although, bard has Moving march, hard to choose.

I think i'll go with Cleric. ^^
