i read both guides, did the pros and cons for both builds but i still can't decide: blader or glavier?

Blader

Pros
-Impossible to kill, #1 tanker
-great in parties, is better overall then a 1H sword since these guys get their arses kicked by Mag. Mobs.
-a lot more fun to play then any other build once you got the flashy sword chains, i also heard that at higher levels one powerful chain is all it takes to kill a mob.
-has two ranged attacks, one AoE, great for killing teal/blue mobs quickly for farming or power-levelling
-if used right can easily own any build in PvP

Cons
-low damage, very high chances of getting Ksed by bots or INT legits
-if not used right, will either get owned in PvP or will win in a humiliating sort of way: by making the enemy run out of pots.
-B/S combo more expensive then bying a glavie or spear for example.
- can't kill uniques unless you use your KD wisely and there is not a lot of people trying to Ks you

Glavie

Pros
-tanks very well
-does not get Ksed as often as a blader
-can kill uniques
-glavie less expensive then B/S combo
-requires less SP(used a calculator, a glavie build requires around 20k SP less)
-heard that its a lot better in PvP then bladers
-Stun

Cons
-still gets Ksed by nukers
-only 1 ranged attack, less effective in power-levelling sessions or even in farming sessions
-if a blader/sword knocks down the enemy there's no way you can attack it, thats how skilled bladers Ks giants/uniques.
-does not tank as well as a blader
-less effective in a party even though Stun is VERY useful.

Is there any Pros or Cons i did not name? if yes please tell me so i can make the best decisions possible.

Also don't advise me a build just because you play it, or for example if you're a glavier who doesn't know shit about bladers, don't vote, you won't help.

Whichever is more fun for you.

not that we should be deciding what your build is I would use blader because I think they are more fun and its very cool to take multiple mobs at once

I dont think uniques can be KD-ed ....

U got a zillion ranged skills, some hit 3 mobs. Perfect for killing npc thieves.
The looks are flawless, and completely out of competition.

He wanted to say the combined price of blade & shield (B/S combo) is more than just a glaive. It confused me too, but I was smart enough to figure it out lol (no offense, kiddin ofcourse)

Oh u forgot 1 thing. Every good Glaiver has a shield too, which he uses when knocked down, or running away (which is often when me and guildies r gang-bangin) xD ^^

aft new skill update, its now possible to be killed by euro wiz/chinese spear nuker wif snow shield on

and its a pain to lvl fr 42 - 48 cuz maong/bungwang has too spread out spawn + lots of nuker bots

tanking 20 niya guards seem fun

thats why chose blader I don't want to run away from 3 mobs because I can't tank

do what you like more

but I have done glaive, and the skills are boring from 30-40, just to let you know, other than that glaive is fun

No glaiver lvl80 can kill a blader lvl80 *if a blader has any descent gears, and a glaiver has no sun glaive). I'd say vice verca, but I'll confirm when I hit 80.

i put up 6 days till the poll closes, until Friday, the day when i can play SRO again

if u truly want to annoy poeple and have fun killing. choose blader.

imagine it. since cold force is annoying as hell. what happens if the bladers and cold force combine.after all blader can knockdown constantly not only that but with the cold force u get awesome freezing.
so choose blader and make your user _ColdForce_

Look mate, I know a swarm of bladers who switched to glaives.
I would never do that. Blade is the best build when team work is up. I'm not saying glaivers suck. No build sucks when u r in a good gang.

ppl say it's easier to grind with glaiver. I dont think so. It's hella funnier and easier to grind with blader, as soon as u get ur 2nd petal skill. Oh, and then, the 3rd, double cut! Kd's and stabs are sooooo good, and what does a glaiver have? Pfft, a stun. And a knock back wow *sarcasm* the only thing that made me say "Glaive is awesome" is the looks of the last chains but blader! omgawd, all those fancy lookin combos! the last chain can curse "division", which is the sickest thing evah. U could own anyone with a division status! And blah blah, like I care whatcha gonna chose, w/e *coughpickthebladecough*

and @ your information, bladers technically are a cheaper build, since of their tanking abilites and somewhat cheap mp skills, they use less pots
