im new to the foums and i was wondering whichjob is better? Hunter or Thief?

Until your at least level 40 I wouldn't bother doing any lol

Trader: Okay if your going 1 star but even then there's usually loads of people cheating to get their thieves to attack your camel.

Thief: If you can actually find people who are trading more than 1 star you'll need some accomplices and even then usually some super high level thief comes along and kills everything on the screen.

Hunter: Totally pointless, there's just too many high level thiefs about.

That's if your on Xian, Babel is much safer and easier for the jobs.

damn calm down im just getting some advice on whats good. see i was gonna be a hunter but to what black mamba says, its a bad idea

It would be more fair if only thiefs 4 or 5 levels above you can attack you, when your in your 20's and a level 50 comes along to kill you, your strongest attack will do about 1 damage on them, theirs will do about 5 times your HP and kill you in one hit, very stupid and crappy.

I wish they'd do something about it, you shouldn't have to kill 10 billion monsters repetatively just so some jerk doesn't kill you in one hit.

If everyone stays away from Hunters because there aren't enough Hunters then there will never BE enough Hunters. If people just do what they think is cool then maybe things would be a little less uneven.

What gains can u actually get being a thief?? Does a thief have to go around on a murdering spree??

you kill a trader and its horse and take the goodies inside then teleport back to your theif base and sell the items to the "black market" man

probably the hardest of all the jobs and it requires teamwork at times.

5 star requires team work >_>
I survived until the last second. As I was 2 seconds away from teleporting a rapeful of thieves caved in on me.

Thief, hardest of all jobs? Come on. Plenty of noob traders run easily-jacked 2+ stars out of Jangan, or die to earth ghosts just outside Donwhang. Hunting is way harder because you actually have to kill things, and so many of the high-level crazy grinders are thieves who will kill you as soon as look at you.

If you are a thief you can't do an other job without losing exp for it.
Example: You are a thief and you killed 2 star trader. You pick his stuff up and return to the thiefs den. There you sell it and gain exp. You receive like 10% exp but you will lose 10% trader exp and i believe you also lose X% hunter exp.
So if you go and be a hunter you can also be a trader and visa versa.

haha. im a full time hunter. when me and nightbloom go huntering, everyone runs away or dies.

so dont complain about thives, cuz they complain about me.

I want to be a merchant and i just want to kno if its wiser to have hunters escort you or follow a group of merchant?

by the way how does merchanting work? im not really clear on that
