Is pure int bow good and if is what armor should i use prot?

well is nuker glavie and protector or armor?

Nuker spear would be prot.

Pure Int Bow is weaker than a nuker..
it doesnt have high crits and wont do that well in pve or pvp

Pure int is for Spear and S/S

Pure str is for Glavie and Blade

Hybrid can be any

Bow can also be any but mostly choose Pure Str and Hybrid 70:70

i wont waste time saying why because people just think "pure int bow sux, lolz" so i'm just saying this: PURE INT BOW ISN'T AS BAD AS MOST OF YOU THINK.

The Pure Int Bow are weaker when compared to other classes. All bow class skills (pacheon) are physical based damage. Now imbue helps boost damage and is the only skill affected by int.

Now if you get nukes it's pointless because the bow is already long range. Your nukes will hit low due to the magical attack on the bow compared to sword or spear type classes. Bows are known for criticals and when using nukes that takes no effect and crit becomes totaly useless.

The bottom line is: Int bows aren't horible but when compared to other classes it becomes useless. As of right now I'm Pure Str but later on I might put a few points into Int. Hopefully this helps

But it's worse than the other pure int builds and in my mind last place is as bad as I think.

Sword/Shield = Pure INT
Spear = INT Hybrid
Blade = Pure STR
Bow = Pure STR
Glavie = Pure STR

Personally I think Pure STR bows are silly ... but thats just me.

Str builds are for tanking and you are building a tank that has no advantage for tanking with a STR bow.

int archers were bad then ... now with KB and stun, not that bad, but still vulnerable in 1v1 pvp.

First of all there is a wrong information that people always say that : Bow nukes is too low ...

But for sry you all are wrong ... bow have decent mag attack
let's take an example of npc degree 8 weapons and see ...

BOW : phy attack = 559 , mag = 894
Sword : phy = 508 , mag = 882
Blade : phy = 551 , mag = 813
Glavie : phy = 616 , mag = 896
spear : phy = 560 , mag = 986

so it's as following :
phy attack : Glavie > Spear > Bow > Blade > Sword
Mag attack : Spear > Glavie > Bow > Sowrd > Blade

Bow have mag attack more than sword (and it already have the best attack rating in game ) .. but it weakeness came from having no shield , no bonus HP , only have more range ....

And pure INT off course do well in PVE when he know how to not die .. but in PVP he can't be good without sun set to make balance with shield that sword user have and HP that spear have ..

Pure int bow can attack from long distance and then switch to spear and nuke ... he don't need spear mastery to nuke ...

But he still the lowest HP in game with no shield and this is anoying

Sword has alsow a good Defence cuz the shield. Dont forget that.

play it if u want.. but it isnt recommended

People have to remember that now we have new skills, so the bow have 3 skills with 350% (last strong, devil arrow and second strong book) that can be cast with same delays than nukes (before int bow has just devil arrow). Personally I think is better ss to bow for pure int, but I dont call anyone noob because he is trying something diferent. That I can say is that you should be really carefull on pvp and you should definitly to use the phantom walk to get at least 1-hit before the other hit you and when you fight a pure str bow, he will be able to 1-hit you with a crit but you cant do it with him.

A Pure INT Spear??? That build sucks no defense but a simple HP increase. And a hybrid bow hahaha noobs these days.

The bow skills are perfectly suitable for Ints. How do I know? I USE them.

The 350% expolosive arrow most of that stuff is physical damage, so you won't get the good part of it because you'll be nuking and do more damage that way, leaving your bow skills to rot. You don't get more defence, or more health, you don't get 40% stun or 50% KD so you can get further away or heal, other weps>bow as a full int.
