I want to start a dagger rouge, but which skills are good (must have, etc.)?
the point is to farm as little as possible, so im not thinking of any sub-classes or even dual weapon. just wanna lvl as fast as possible and still have a "decent" character.

Why on Earth would you want to have a red dagger? I mean, honestly, it's not your colour! Trust me on this one!
It's R O G U E, not rouge, R O G U E!

i asked the same question for skills, and all the dagger kills are usefull, so get them all, as for the others all you really want is stealth, later on you can add if u want but with out a subclass your farming wil be little.
if u keep a 3gap till ur a higher lvl, you should have enough for urself

get all the daggar skills except the pvp skills and poison
poison is ok, just don't invest too much into it because its not so effective
get the pvp skills like stealth and scorn later when you start pvp or jobbing because theres no use for these skills at low lvls

If it was only a misspelling I wouldn't react, but for some odd reason people have gotten it into their head that this is the correct spelling. It bugs me almost as much as people using theif in stead of thief or people talking about an MSb bit or MSB byte.

When you realize a glaive is a weapon and a glavie isn't you can start yelling at people about proper spelling.

I will say enjoy the game much, don't play the game just for the sake of high lvl character. Grinding is all you need in this game, needless to say, any job any class can't espace from it.

Or you check wikipedia, and find out that the name may have evolved from gladius, via gladie, glaie, and GLAVIE towards glaive. In the time that SRO plays in, the thing could very well have been called a glavie. Having said that however, I doubt you can find me using glavie in stead of glaive anywhere.

I did read it and the term "glavie" is Latin, but you're probably right, the rough time period that SRO takes place the Chinese spoke Latin and not Chinese. If 'historically accurate' an English translation would be more celtic than latin roots.
Apologies for semi-hijacking this thread, I find this guide has good insight on skills if you haven't clicked his sig yet above:

IMO, those "on-player" skills like scorn, tag point, just remain at lvl 1, well unless you are so frequently used it, then max them maybe.
