first of all, i have almost no clue of euro pvp. since im lvl 80 for months, bored of chinese builds and waiting for lvl 90 cap. i want to have some new challenges: i wanna lvl an euro char.
one possibility is rouge/cleric. but i've heard about a warlocks danger. having cleric as sub, i think my char won't die that easy, though it will be full int. so there is question about the 2nd tree. im interested in warlock. it says, it can debuff, stun, have sleep, etc. but what does that actually mean? what is debuff or sleep for example?
thx for your help

with cleric buff, warlocks are really hard to kill
they usually kill you before you can do some real damage.
they drain hp, put in debuffs that will lower your attack+ defense + stun + slow, eventually you'll become like a manyang to them, and they'll 1 hit you LOL
well their nuke sucks but with debuffs they're deadly
debuff = lower character stats
sleep = well...sleep... kinda like stun... but you can wake up if being attacked.

Basically, warlocks are dangerious cuz they self heal while rendering your pots useless with curses and nuking as hard as chinese nukers, and they can cast most spells really fast and stop you...they also have absolute damage skill which will pwn you.
Downside.....they become weak chinese nukers without ice shield if you have holy word or use expensive pills and will spend most of their time using their leech skill to stay alive.

i am lvl 47 hybrid warlock/cleric currently 87% mag balance with no int str items , i can pretty well tank chinese but vs wizard and rogue its very hard . if wizard hit first and my stun didnt get on him i am dead. vs rogues xbow kinda no chance if i dont block they have bigger range than me . vs daggers if they are invisible it depends skill but sometimes they didnt kill me if they used combo , but visible are easy to kill. And i just wonder if should i get 80% mag naked to get 2,7k extra hp which really helps or stay about 9x% to get 600. traps really help 2,2k dmg and dosent count lvl 1 or 80 always the same. in pve you can easly solo even elite giant.

i was wondering if a hybrid 1str 2 int warlock would be better? or would the addition hp not make much of a diff?
would pure int warlock do much more damage instead?

warlocks are way too easy to counter seeing as everyone has a cleric behind them or a cleric sub nowadays. for chinese you can even put up an ice wall and go afk or something.
of course on the off chance you see someone without cleric/cleric sub or ice/fire wall you're a monster.
if you do decide to have str as a warlock tho, be prepared to be rendered TOTALLY useless by just one single skill.

Warlock has knockback? oO
Warlock take some training to do. They are great builds with tons of skills and the enemy might be immune or resist alot. Most of the skills have an 80% of working but I swear it only works around 30% of the time. so you have to constantly be debuffing and then get that nuke off and not get kded/stuned/knockback. Warlock is SO much fun, but you gotta be thinking ahead, you cant just spam nukes or mars. lol
Unlike china weapons which have both a magical and phy attack, euro's only have one or the other. Adding int to a two-handed sword will give you no extra magic damage. Adding str to a warlock will give you a bit more hp and some phy defense but no additional phy attack. If you need more hp as an int character use alchemy that is what it is there for!
Warlock is an int character it's attacks are based off that magic damage adding str for some additional hp is not worth surrendering some damage for.
