Type hybrid into the search and see how many useless threads it give you. I did it and it gave me 3878 results and the first page had almost NO HYBRID RESULTS at all. So the search feature needs a little work me thinks.
Don't flame him for asking a question, answer it or dont post.
On topic: I'd go with the 80:80 build if I were you. I'm trying it out right now and think it is a real good build (my hybrid is 42 right now). But, I am not going bow, i'm doing the spear thing with it and I like the dmg it does along with the hp. Works for me man. Test it out.

This is just my personal experience, I hadthe 80:80 bow build, lvl 42 (I stopped it there, new char), he was complete pownage, when I pvp'd I could kill higher lvls, with ice imbue ofc, I enjoyed this build alot, only downside is not alot of hp, I had something like 2.8k hp and 3.7k mp. I also ATE alot of str bowers XP

80:80 sucks no defense because of bow so you die a ton.

*sigh* for people that never found someone doing a decent 80:80 archer build.
2:1 str has the best defense/tanking, and 80:80 has the best damage. They're both hybrids, but if done nicely it could work.

pure str. everyone can argue should an archer be a pure str or not. but pure str archer is really easy to play.

i also have 1 80:80 bow..nice damage and can ks nuker 
but if u starting from scratch...i guess its pure str...pure str bow have range so it is unlike str blade where it is hard to farm or level later in the game...go pure...ull save money at lower level(no need too many blue to keep 80:80),ull have superb crit,ull have HP but if u already mess up with some str and int point..go str hybrid or 80:80

You didn't even played this build just spamming that it sux while you don't know anything about this game ..
In PVP :
80:80 hybrid in protector have decent mag and phy def , HP and MP that can tank both : pure int and pure str with snow shield .. Bow at +70 have stun and KB that make him tank for a while
In PVE :
you are heavy damger not tanker , kill everything super fast and from long distance and when you get in hard situation just turn snow shield on and kill everything in these 2 minutes ..
Some people have closed mind .. they tried pure str bow .. low damge and Long HP ... enemies don't die fast because of low damge and they feel that bow need to have Tons of HP to tank these monsters .. but 80% phy balance in protector have better phy def than 108% phy balance in garment + 35% snow shield .. and off course it make heavy damge enough to 2 hit monsters , and few hits all pure str and Int your lvl ..
