hey my question is if i plvl and pfarm my rogue to high level can i skip getting and maxing the skills for dagger "spinning" and "screw" since at the moment these skills dont need to be maxed to open a new book , avoiding opening these books would save me farming 25k sp, so my question is can i play at high level without these skills or are they needed.
ty for who ever replys

I'm not lvl 60+, but 25k sp wouldn't take too long to get if you're in a really good party for a couple of hours. imo...

more skills = more fun.
euros dont need much farming so why not just get it?

farming is not the problem its just if im going to pass these levels then why get skills that might be weaker then others that i am getting at highier lvls and therefore i possibley wont use these , if they are weaker i dont know yet thats why i was hopeing to get some feedback from high lvl rogues.
also by looking at rogue pvp vids i notice these skills are not even on the bars.

both those skills arent even maxed at level 80, i would say Spinning isnt really useful since it gives no effect and its a 2 shots skill, but Screw is a single shot skill which means if you can make a Crit on it then it deal really big damage (like Prick), and also it got Stun effect which can come really handy in PVP
Anyway even if you get all the skills in Daggers, you wont really be able to use them all, you should be good with Mortal Wounds + Prick + Combo/Butterfly Blow + Screw

lvl 40 rogue (farming with GT). I'd say skip both, cause even screw's stun doesn't work very often anyways. Combo Blow + Prick + Mortal Wounds + Butterfly Combo is more than enough to use in succession. Most of the time you only use daggers in PvP anyways, so those 4 skills chained together can kill just about anybody your lvl.

....get screw, don't listen to these guys. At least screw is a necessary skill, you will notice rouges all use screw as their first or second skill coming out of stealth since it's 1 hit finisher if you crit, and even if you don't.

yes i thought prick would of been enough for the 1st skill , i have not been a high lvl rogue yet so what is the differnce in damage between prick and screw ;s

Screw dmg: 17x%
Prick dmg: 375%
I believe you mean prick. Screw is pretty much useless unless you plan on grinding with daggers from lvl 1-39. And if you can find any good reasons to grind at those levels with daggers besides "being different", feel free to list them. >_>

get it yeah they aren't as powerful as other moves but when you factor in cooldowns its best to have as many skillz as possible at your disposal especially if you plan on fighting mobs with alot of health and multiple ppl....also you don't get butterfly blow or combo blow till 60 so you'll need more than 3 skills until then.....

My bad, I must have thought that screw was prick and vice versa. Can you really blame me for that mistake, when prick sounds so weak compared to screw?

By lvl 40, you get: Prick, Wounds, Combo Blow to work with.
Without screw at lvl 80, you have
1. Wounds
2. Prick
3. Combo Blow
4. Mortal Wounds
5. Butterfly Blow
to combo with. The question here is if you REALLY need to get screw... Wounds = 87% x2 = 174%. Screw = 173%. The only reason people should even bother with screw is that it has 30% chance of stunning. Otherwise I'll just stick with the 5 skills above...
Even in Juey's hunter video, he only used 2-3 skills at most for a kill, and he usually dies if he doesn't succeed by then. So it really depends on...whether or not you want to spend the sp.
