depends on what you plan to do later on
if you want to do more player vs player (pvp) then this build is considered weak
but if you plan to be an ultimate mob slayer i would add (personal choice) some str to your build and have fun grinding

It's stupid and I think NS explained it the best.
One, bow has mediocre mag. attack.
Two, bow doesn't have a save you're ass passive, in fact it's passive is useless for nukes.
Three, you're ignoring the two most important skills for the bow, one is the nice blue crit and the other is the flash +350% uber shot.

Bow has less attack, less defence, and less HP than the other nuker options. Why would you bottleneck your char?

Int bow is not for the weak of heart ...
It works fine but it takes work and you have to know what you are doing.
The build does especially well with Uniques and jobbing and not so well in toe to toe cape fights.
Use fire not lightning or cold as your imbue ... and use the cold buffs and passive instead of adding strength. The basic idea is to kill things before they even touch you ... but to be able survive long enough in case they do hit you. A good Int Bow will keep their damage potential as high as possible.
Good luck with your character and keep at it ... this build is lots of fun.

this was my first char build i got it to level27 then i read in the forums it was not good so i dropped it, but it was fun, it actually was a pure int cold bow, with light buffs

you can always add some str if you think you die to easily

I've seen a couple of videos with pure int bow, and they do hold up pretty well

One guild mate has this build Int bow. dont know what he has but he hits pretty dam hard...
but dies really fast if lets anyone get to him but usually he kills them before...
+he has sun bow +7
so mag att is high not as a sun sword would have but its a sun...

Why do people think a bow nukes weaker than a sword? obviously no one has looked at the stats recently. It has a wider fluctuation in damage, but with the bird it should tighten it up.
I wouldn't really recommend this build, but I am sure it is fun for pve and if you decide you die to easily you can always just add str at later levels. Make sure you get snow shield!

It could be good, but I don't think you should use only nukes.
> Why?
Because as a spear or sword nuker you have better passives and probably more damage.
But if you use bow skills with pure int, you could and up with some nice build I think.

This is build is probably the best unique killer using 3 different skills that have 350% with a much a higher range than nukes. The problem is that on pvp you will find that most of the time you cant use use the advantage that is the higher range compared to nukers. Yesterday I found that a strong pure int from my server switch from ss to bow, but he is still farming so I cant tell you the results (I kill him but Im with 0 gap and he is on 7 gap). IMO for pure int are better ss or spear, but I will tell you the same that I say him yesterday "I will be waiting that you finish farming to see the results ^^".

Actually you are better off using the bow skills with an imbue than you are nuking. Not that you can't nuke if you want to ... but the bow skills work really well plus you get the extra distance. The extra distance is especially important when fighting Isy or Lord Yarkon.
Using the weapon skills as your main attack instead of actually nuking is probably the biggest difference with an Int bow when compared to a S/S Int or a Spear Int.
I can nuke but I rarely do unless I am forgetful and run out of arrows.
