you like hp, go str
you like damage, 70:70

if u like hp and love to see crit but does not crit often go full str
if u like damage and tankable go 80 80 ice bow.

how can u say pure str doesnt do damage
and how can u say pure str bow doesnot crit often wow
please do us all a favor if u know shit from a build dont post useless stuff
cause ppl will probably do wat u guys imply -.-

go to any server make a global and ask a pure str bow to pvp any other build int /hybridbow/hybrid spear/hybrid s.s/hybrid blade /or str and enjoy the show u will see damage and crits tyvm

then come back after seeing the show and u will be amazed

Ok, before this start the same old discussion I beg to dont continue nor give any answer to this quote. I recognize that I was really tempted, but just dont start with this over and over again.

i prefer full str coz of the hp...but both have their advantages in pvp; if youre up only for pve then go 70:70

Here we go again with all these topics. I will vote for Pure STR and everyone else will go for Hybrid.

puer str , i had a pure str bow and ther really good.

DONT GO 70:70 ther not that good, sure they do kill mobs faster but at pvp ther not as good as full str

Not gonna mince words, but i did win against a 80:80 hybrid. He had 43% snow shield and Sosun protector head, chest and leg. His hp was 14000+ and I critted him for 10 ~ 11k. We both had +6 sosun bow, difference was he has better crit (on bow) than mine. Maybe gear's blues wasn't so good.

please im not saying that full str or 70:70 is more pwnage than the other...but atleast say WHY....

what can the topic starter do with only:
PURE STR IS BETTER
or:
HYBRID IS BETTER

wow alot of ppl for the pure str and very little for the hybrid, i dnt see why ppl say pure str are better -.-", they are gud as each other, only 80:80 bow has higher dmg (non-crit) and pure str has alot mre hp. But against eruo chars, 80:80 bow with ice are rly rly rly gud, well for me anyways, this is because u can ACTUALLY freeze dem, as for pure str, very rarely do pure str max out ice mastery since there dmg would decrease hella lot without fire.

There is no best bow build. Every has its good and bad.
Full Str does better in PvP, 80:80 does better in PvE.
Full Str Crit Harder, Hybrid does better overall damage.
At the end it all comes down to what gear you have on.

You wanna focus on PvP? Go Full str. Your PvM will suffer.

You wanna focus on PvM? Go Equal Hybrid. your PvP will suffer.

Or you can make your own build, just don't get mag balance any higher. Otherwise, you may as well trade in your panch for heuk and call yourself a str heavy nuker. You'll rape all hybrid bows that's for sure.

Full Str-Nice damage and Tanker, lot of crytical
Hybrid-Tanker,High damage, little crytical(but when you do crytical it hurts)
just remember you only got 2mins to kill your opponent(no mana shield you dead)

pure str!
only hybrid character u can make is hybrid int spear.

Cerus, Pure str is not better in PVP nor does it crit harder, crit dmg are the same but pure str has a lot lot more hp, pure str only has a bigger increase in crit dmg, both builds are as gud as ach other and has different builds it is gud against and bad against, depends on what u like mre, and 70:70 bow isnt better in PVE, and the very very least it will take 2 hits from 70:70 bow to kill any mob same lvl, and so will pure str, only 70:70 will do around 2k mre non crit dmg.

I PvP a full str, I normally lose when the gears are equivalent or at least similar.
PvE wise, I was killing Niya Shamans/Niya Mages (2 hitting them) since LvL 72, you tell me that 70:70 is not good at PvE?
1 hitting mob my lvl is always the case with SoS alone.

Check the damage contest, n you will notice that full str crit harder.

Pure Str crit

I go for pure str if happen that i make one. But solely it is depends on your gear in any PvP.
