Well, if you go protector, you will have less phy defense, which could leave you an easy target for pure STR's. Sure, Protector does give you some more MP (you use 10% less each skill) and it does make you run a bit faster, but your pure int, you already have all the mag. defense, you don't really need anymore, and you have more then enough MP, so that 10% really doesn't do anything, and you have grasswalk for speed.

Armor is your best bet, because your pure int, your not looking for mag defense or speed and ect, you want phy defense.

And yet, 7 people have said protector. Why? Because you will have a better chance against hybrids, your P def will not decrease significantly and you will be able to completely eliminate the added effect of the imbues.

Either way I think it does not matter since if you wear armor the P skills do less damage, but the imbue does more. Since p.skills do the majority of the damage armor would probably give you about 5% more defense, but the extra 10% speed and extra protection from other nukers is worth it.

I am with protector!! Hate armour for the slow running speed!!

Weird enough, I am a pure int, but usually get killed by nuke skill instead of physically skill (in PvP)!

I Prefer Armor Because The Armor Have a Lot Of Phy Def and the monsters atk a lot of times with phy atk

I would do protector because you already got a shield and it looks cooler.

i used to have protector when i first hit 69 then when i hit 77 i switch to armor and i can take str build alot easier even if they kill me i last longer...

your best bet is to mix them

protector/ garment i prefer garment looks better and runs faster. At 90 and 100 cap i suggest protector.

dont forget, your defense is also based on your magical and physical balance, so even a pure int with armor wouldnt be as good as you would like it to.

Pure int = garment
Hybrid = protector
Pure str = armor

Full Int = Armor
Hybrid = Protector
Full Str = Garment

If a Full str should use armor they should'nt have any chance against a nuker..

Go Armor since you are Full Int.. You going to need the phy defence

dont listen to answears that said about going for protectors cuz of more speed, u have grass walk so u dont go with protector if ur looking for more speed.


well my friends build is build is int s/s ( using his build as a example )

90 bicheon
90cold
90 light

now listen to this part, he chose protector cuz cold is already giving me a BUNCH of phy def with the passive and the cold shields and he had the average int defense so thats y he choose protector.

now if ur a int with fire/light but cold at 30 , u might wanna go armor cuz u dont have enough phy def that cold would give but. but u would have more int def because of the fire shields. and ur gona be weak in phy def so u pick armor more phy def
