Ok, this is my intended build. I found ice to be worthless and serve no purpose for Bow or Glaive...

Intended Build:

Fire : 80
Lightning : 80
Heuskal : 80
Pacheon : 60

I've seen many people use this build and they kicked ass.

What do you guys think of this build?

So far I am only 15% done with the levels. [Level 42]

Still got some ways to go but so far I kick ass.

Opinions please?

Drop pacheon, get ice

I have had experience in Heuskal and Pacheon along with fire and lightning (on different characters). I have to say, this is going to require a lot of skill points to max out those skills. Will this be a str or int character? Or hybrid?

Do you plan to get bow skills? or just the bird?

Either way I wouldn't recommend it, but just curious.

Deacon, I will never drop Pacheon for ice... what glaive user uses ice? Tell me that... only noobs would...

I am getting all of the skills too. Fire and Lightning have all of the buffs... except ice guard... but when your pure str with SOM sets whats their to worry about...?

Ice serves no purpose. The only thing I like on it is freezing the high level thieves so I can run, unless I can own them...

Ice is only used for farming... nothing else... a pure str bow uses fire and lightning... never ice when fighting... why? Because he is done farming!!! I have no problem farming... at lvl 24 I was killing scorpions... So I take on anything 14 levels higher than me...

More opinions please?

Pacheon is kinda usless, what will u use it for???, with ice you can get the new skill, that will help u tank more, so like the other 10 people drop pacheon get ice.

What is the purpose of having bow skills and glaive skills.

You say ice is noob, but for a caped str player with good gear they have 10k mp, and 20k hp. So even with the first book first lvl of mana sheild, that takes 20% into your mana, you wont run out of mp, and you turn those hits of 9k(random number) into only 7,200 dmg. So snow shield in turn is acting as if you had 20% more hp for 2 mins.

What server you in? 80% of the high lvls, in my server, (70+) have atleast the first book of snow shield, no matter what the build is. Try killing a capped player with king buffs, euro buffs, snow shield, and is carrying a shield. And dont flame saying euro buffs or snow shield is cheating its like saying using your mouse is cheating. Joymax gave me the skills I am gonna use them to kill you. ^_^

eventually (hopefully at 90 cap) the fire shield glitch will be fixed...ice imbue with pacheon will be really effective.

The purpose of having the bow skills are for the bird.

On top of that, I have SOM equipment, so why do I need ice?

Also, whats the new skill on ice that will help me?

The point of having Pacheon is for the bird, and for fun.

Because a glaive user doesn't use ice, and thats what I will be in the end.

Pacheon is just for fun when I am board.

the new ice skill is snow shield. it takes a certain percent of the damage you take from MP instead of HP.

and even if you have full som, you'll grow out of it.

OMG...
You have never used ice imbue with a bow! Freeze/Frostbite at range is the best PvE.

Also, Ice Shield is the newest, best 1337 H4X0RZ skill in SRO. Unless JM changes Flame Body so you can still be ice-immune at the 90 cap, Ice>Fire until the cap rises again...
