How are lightning archerers?

So im starting a new char..
my glavier is getting boring plus he is not pure..


I made a char, im going for pure str light/something.

Lower levels i will use bow because of sp farming purposes

I was pretty sure i was gonna go glavie, and than sp farm and get my fire skills++ and be a pure str fire glavie.


But i kinda wanna try something i havent before, so how is a pure str lightning bow?

i dont really get the point of a lightning bow, ice bow u get frostbite/freeze, most people dont like it due to low damage, so they choose fire for more damage, but lightning does less damage and the status effect isnt that amazing, only thing i can think of thats good about it is that it can attack more than 1 mob when they are close i think.

the status effect dus makeyour damage go up

the down side is that players will pill it away fast
the splash damage how ever can be usefullat times when your being mobbed
, but can also be a pain as you can lure to many monsters on your self and get mobbed

Also the more damage your attack dus the more damage the splash dus

looking closer at the lightning skills there are some that are usefull like the parry buiff and passive , but the magic skills like the shouts and tbolts and the extra magic damage buff are useless on a str char

imo a lightning str archer also needs cold and/or fire for the buffs and passives but that means youd have to have alot of masterys .
Thinking a lil ahead we say max lvl is 90 ( witch it will be eventualy)
4 x 90 = 360 , that 60 points over the max at lvl 90

If you wanna build a light str archer effectively youd have to figure out a way to devide your 300 mastery's over all the skill tree's you'd want
and sp farm alot
