after reading a lot of topics from this and another forum most of the time people says cold archer does low damage and because of the pills they become almost useless but once again i searched for more informations and for my surprise the korean champion is a cold archer...more than only one guy i heard about a guy in a pvp fight 5x vs. 5x doing crits of 15k without bersek and more then that i saw a video of another archer doing 28k dmg...however i dont have any clue about what are their builds or at least theit weapons for doing that huge dmg if anyone could gimme any hint or advice about cold archers i would apreciate it...

Pills may make cold less useful, but it still slows the mob/person down considerably. If you get frostbitten in the middle of a skill, no matter how fast you pill it off, you stay frostibtten until that skill is done. It's still a matter of opinion, but don't go in thinking ice has been totally nerf'd.

And no, you wont outdamage fire userswith te exact same specs, but you can make it work, I'm sure.

yeah that i know but even so...some cold archers make huge amounts of dmg and that is the point i wanna know...how they do that...i dont know if its the bow that do it or if it s any skill but they own with pure str/ice...if anyone knwos theyr builds or ekips would be very good to discuss

i duno if it's just me, but for str chars, the imbue doesnt add too much.. say the fire imbue adds 100 per hit, the cold will add like 50 or 60 instead.

im sure it gets bigger once you start pulling bow skills but eh doesnt see like it'd do THAT much more.

you will need a good crit bow in order for your str/ice archer to shine. by good critical I don't necessary mean critical 6 but critical 11.
and at lvl 44, the ice imbue adds around 100 dmg each hit of my combos. Given the fact that I am fully buffed with various skills of Lightning and Fire and the white hawk.

DJ uses 2nd to last ice imbue I believe, not sure but anything past book one should add a lot more than 50-70 dmg lol. And yeah the bow skills help a lot.

Fire imbue they kill me.
