Just wondering if anyone could give me some tips for my character, currently trying to level an archer, any specific things i should remember and do while leveling and regarding my skills?

Played the game for 2 days or so and pretty overwhelmed with all the stuff, tried reading around and everything seems to be a bit too jumbled for me to take in.

welcome to SRO, and SRF

chi. bows are easy to lv until 30 then get guite hard, so if you are trying to keep a bow all the way to 80 then go hybrid int, so you can cast lots of skills,

or if you wont to lv fast all the way then go pure int and at 30 get the nukes and change weapon to spear with only a few points in pac. (the bow skills)

the game is pretty easy to understand, just do all the quest and look at this site for the guides for quests

http://www.shimpedia.net/sro/

quests let you lv faster, also don't worry about jobbing and farming and get your self confused just get to lv20 and then ask here again. :D

Welcome :)

Yeah it is crazy at the beginning. The problem is that one of the greatest things about this game is that there is more than 1 way to build your character. Unfortunately almost everyone will tell you that their way is the best way and won't admit to any disadvantages to there build.

Right now you should just grind (fight mobs), quest, and level. I suggest you read some guides posted throughout this forum. Then ask specific questions, that the guides don't cover.

Oh and make sure that you keep about a 3 gap between your lvl and your skills.
This means that if you are lvl 10 keep your skills around lvl 7.

the best way to learn is to play the game, when you know the controls you will pick you the rest pretty fast, also i think you should start with a euro because they are easier to play and build

if you are ganna be a euro dont be a warlock cos they are pretty hard to get used to if you have never played this game before

best toon to start with would be a warrior for euro or a glavie for china because both are easy to use
