atm on my new char, i just hit lvl 30 and im PURE STR, i have hade some advice to go 80:80 what is meant to be stronger when your higher but i needed some advice^? can anyone help me please!

if pure str, on high lvls, get a 11+ crit bow, and since criticals are based on str and bow have skills that increase it, BOOM.

I'd go pure str bow if i were you

Damage: 70:70 bow > Str Bow
HP: Str Bow > 70:70 Bow
Critical: Str bow > 70:70 Bow

Both sounds like a good build to me, so it depends on your preferences. Do you want to be a 70:70 and deal high DPS or be a Str Bow to be able to tank and deal high crits?

Pure STR

bigbear ... wat do u like the most?

- do u like to kill someone fast with a bit less hp?
- like a hybrid nuker, u deal higher dmg but got less hp

or

- do u like to kill someone a bit slower with more hp?
- like a glaive, u deal dmg but can withstand some hits

Why not make a STR hyb and get best of both builds?

the dfference between str damage and crits, and 80:80 damage and crits, is humongous, 80:80 deals more than 2 times more dps than str when you combine crits and reg damage on both

Be hybrid 80:80 before it becomes a common build and less unique...

Well i like to deal damage and have alot of HP... But i have got some SOS's lined up for me up to lvl 52 so i don't have to worry about to much damage hehe i think i will stay PURE STR for now but il think about it in the future.. thnxs for all your repleys they all helped

once being a hybrid,make it 1:1...if u already pure,for me stay pure

with pure str u die less,u can use regular gear and still enough for grinding(unlike 1:1,u need a lot blue,any hybrid suck blue)..stay pure and add blue only for 8d gear^^

do you mean with 1:1 80:80 bow build ? (with max blue)

im level 68 Hybrid
1.maybe just me or something my bow is sos+4, 8crytical i don't do much crytical when i pvp. but there is one thing.
when a Hybrid Crytical i bet u money it will take more than 50% of your HP down. for glavier i use ice because they got stunt so i need something to slow then down.higher krytical i have done was 9.7k on a level 69 guy using armor. while using Ice. and is true Being a hybrid you need to have a lot of money to add Blues to your equipment. also Hybrid don't die like you say
once i put my Snow shield im able to tank a level 70 glavier only problem is the stupid mana shield cooldown thas the only thing the stop Hybrid archer.

Yeah I don't understand how people are saying that the Crits of a 80:80 build bowman are better than a PURE STR's crits...its impossible...you need physical STR to do more damage with crits and you get that when your a STR based build not an INT like with 80:80.

guys wot u talkin about? 80:80 and pure str does same dmg on crits, only pure str has a larger increase, 80:80 say does 7k normal hit, pure str does 5k normal hit, the 80:80 bow build with have a increase of 3k dmg on its crit making 10k, as for pure str he will double his dmg making a total of 10k, the difference is, pure str has alot mre hp den 80:80 bow build but 80:80 has more DPS then pure str, crit dmg is same on both builds

the 80% phy attack we got is let say just for Hp and to do crytical
then the 80% Magic attack is what your imbue needs.
when have you see a pure str do same damage like nukers?
nuker do the same damage, but when a pure str do a crytical is will be higher than a nuker. now think this a Nuker doing crytical is just liek a hybrid bow.

ok i dnt understand 1 thing u jsut sed, but i'm teling ya, both builds do the same critical, the mre str u have the bigger the increase in dmg on a crit, as for 80:80 becasue of less str the increase is much lower but they do a high overall dmg which just adds up to same dmg, but the str can tank alot mre compared to the 80:80 bow build. And nukers mean they use Nukes which dnt do crits, but if they use normal attk skills they will crit, and the mre str they have the bigger the increase.
