i have a sword/shield euro all STR thief

what should my second skill tree be

i was thinking rogue for the whole invisibility and poison thing...

what do you guys think?

Cleric

why cleric... cleric is more of a party based sub-class... realistically in the middle of a fight when you're rushing a caravan, you won't have time to switch weapons so you can heal then switch back.

you dont use it to heal yourself really lol.

thats sort of a last second emergency kinda thing.

you get it for recovery division and bless spell to make yourself even more invinsible. Think about it, shield crush 80% knockback and lvl 8 dull status, recovery division healing you away every 5 seconds automatically, mana skin and iron skin, and bless spell that stays on even when you unequip the cleric rod. Holy word will also make you immune to a bunch of status effects.
all that...

= the tank.
especially if you have another warrior to cast screens on you wow >.>

after all that cake, add the res skill and watch everyone hate you and want you on their side.

so what are the names of the buffs that will stay on even when i un-equip the cleric rod that I should get?

well 1h shield warrior is like the LAST build that would take thief as a job, because its more of a tanker but thieves need to deal damage and kill fast...

well since u have it like that, i would say WARLOCK as your second class, if you're fast enough tho, since 1h/s has lots of defense, and if you gonna put more buffs from cleric on yourself to make you a stronger tanker is kinda useless because you wont be able to kill the hunter/traders(unless their level is really low compare to ur) but with warlock you can go for some awesome offenses, but you gotta be fast with the switching and know what u are doing, which require a little more skill involve. With the sleep/stun skills from warlock, the weaken(aka debuff) skills, they gonna help you a lot with being offense while having a good defense from your warrior skills... and warrior has the cunning stab skill which deal more damage to bind, sleep, stun, dull enemies.

ps: i suggest you to be a hunter with 1h/s, or maybe a trader... cuz hunter doesnt have to kill the thieves, they just need to hold the thief (which is tanking) for the trader to go..

None of the spells fudge listed are buffs (apart form the warrior ones which i assume you already know...), Bless spell, recovery divison and Holy word are all spells (although RD and HW both last for 5 mins, i dont think of them as buffs).

People really need to understand that you do not take cleric as a subclass for its buffs... we are not the same as bards >.>

i will do thief anyway, i can overwhelm them by not dieing, plus you dont thief alone much anyway...so what if it's not the best class, i can still get the job done!

so what subclass should I take?

hunter is just as fun, i will do hunter... but what subclass to choose?

im thinking cleric for bless spell, that's extra magic and phys def for the ultimate tank!

alright now this is another point, totally different when u doing things with another player or players, since you're not soloing, then you can take cleric as your subclass and be a supertanker while having your teammate thieves, prefer rogue or wizard, stay behind you and spam their super damage skills... simple.... well just remember not to have a main melee class and a 2nd melee class, like rogue and warrior because you wont get any benifit....

i made a euro wiz and i might do him as a thief, or make him a hunter too, so i'll have 2 hunters... not sure yet...

as for chinese, i'm done with chinese... they are boring now, and too crippled for my liking.

I stoped reading right there... Warlock as subclass >.<. Thats the most stupid subclass ever if your str and the cleric buffs are just to good to pass by just for some stun and other stuff... Warlock is the weakist build.
Please dont mix warlock with warrior.

lolz then u must be a newbie to underestimate warlock xD... beside u havent read the whole thing so u dont know the reason why warlock...

There are no high lvl warlocks because they cannot solo too fast, and nobody likes to party with them. However, a warlock is one of the best PvP classes on euro side since they heal themselves and cast so extremely fast that before you notice you are dead. If I ever make another char to high level it would be a warlock/cleric for sure, since they are such pwnage. Fyi, warlocks pretty much make you stop on demand having both super fast stun and super fast sleep. Think about it. Sleep = 20 seconds, pot delay = 15 seconds. They can sleep a target and get full hp at any time since the spell is really fast.

And as a subclass they are more useful than bards since most of their spells do not require keeping the warlock rod on, so you can cast and switch.

hmmm i havt tried this but i think the new pills which is 15k each or something and is green in colour might cure sleep. Anyway what catergory is sleep under.

i dun believe sleep is unstoppable even for cold it is stoppable.
force tree might stop people from sleeping

rogue as ur second class is the best u can go invis to get near others.
