Question regarding warrior, euro

Interested in one handed sword type of character but also see that the skills are two handed sword and dual axe.
Do you have to use the skills in 2 handed sword and axe in order to increase the use of the one handed sword?
Probably silly, but just wanted to be sure, thanks.

u dnt have to go up in axe or 2 hand sword to use all 1hand sword skills.

That's right, a warrior doesn't need to get the skills regarding other warrior-type weapons. One warrior can do fine with four masteries, two for his weapon and the first two that are common to all weapons. That's why warrior are the class that needs the least farming, at least if you go pure.

true. I'm dual axe, pure strength..ALL warrior..no submastery yet. Might do rogue just to be super badass. but might do cleric for the healing abilities

i'm making a warrior too
i've chosen to take s/s for mob killing since, u never die it rocks and as sub cleric
but i'm taking 2h weapons aswel for pvp

One handed is definitely a tanker and the last man standing in a war. You owns giant, party mob and even pvp maybe

no, u don't need
u can choose to become a 2h, 1h shield or dual axe
1h and 2h have kb and kd. dual axe doesn't
but dual axe are more welcome in party, for the fact they don't kd, coz when u kd a mob, wizard cannot cast nuke on them, kinda wasted

Should be the other way around, level faster with 2h unless you're tanking for a party and you need as much def as possible, cause 2h/2axe tank as well. 1hS/S+Cleric is a beast in PvP with a high BR shield.
