hi, i've just delvled my bard tree, and getting warlock instead

any warlock out there have try jobbing as warlock???

it seems pretty good as u can stun and sleep and mash urself as some noob

warlock seems more like a 1v1 kinda character with DoT
most people job in packs so id think youd get owned lol.

I'm a lvl 41 thief.

High lvl players are a problem but u can always try to stun and run away^^
I can handle maybe three hunters/traders with stun, sleep and DoT. Pure Int
The Mirage skill is nice. You can kill almost every 1* trader up to lvl 30.

i'll like to hear from a 60+ though since at 50+ every single str char can toss me around like a piece of rubbish. I guess that's expected of an int class.

Use that transformation skill... it appears that people can't attk you while you have that skill on. Or maybe they are too lazy to press alt even then i don't know what doing that does.

i thought it will be useful in job war, but when i put trader on and used it i still had the trader symbol.

warlock would actually be really good at multiple enemies, all they have to do is put dots on each target and all of them gradually die ( taken from my experience from World of Warcraft warlocks which are pretty similar)

Lol WoW locks are infinitely more overpowered though. I wish SRO locks had DeathCoil!!! Well no I don't, cuz then I'd be screwed against locks lol.

Im 61 warlock and so far the only huge trouble im getting is through Rogues with stealth. Other than that they're not so bad.

the dot everyone and /lol method doesn't work here since..

1) you can't run and dot at the same time. stupid dots have cast times(some longer than others)
2) all your dots disappear when you die.
3) dots break your sleep instantly and have a high chance of breaking stun if you use it.

lol death coil FTW, yah wow warlocks are overpowered cuz of the + healing they get on gears too

so it seems most people use DOT as their main attk

what about the blood flower???? and that trap bomb thing???

I don´t know about the trap. But when PvP´ing it seems that Warlocks start with Debuffs, DoTs and stun. The Blood Flower skill is more to ´´give it the final strike´´. Correct me if I´m wrong.

I use the Blood Flower as my main attack skill.
It deals the most damage, so i use it after the debuffs and DoT.
If someone is obviously lower then me, i use it first.

A nice combo is:
- Sleep
- Trap
- Stun
- DoT
- Debuff
- Blood Flower/Vampire Touch

I do the almost the same , just use Debuff first then DoT everything other is same. I can say its pretty good for 1v1.

Do DoTs hit higher when you use that magical defense debuff? If so, it'd be better to debuff before you DoT. I think..

Warlock/bard build is a very successful thief i saw a thief lvl 40 damn cool fighting lvl 50 pure str glavier and sent him2 hell with stun then vampire touch then blood flower attack this build is really amazing i play with this build it needs a lot of farming and i use only three things from bard build moving march,mana cycle,noise this is da best build i every saw from my opininon and hard 2 kill cheers

Yeah, sure, but a warlock is low on hp...
So i use my combo in a 1vs1 situation and your combo is great if the enemy is not concentrating on you.

A warlock does his damage over time but you got to be fast though. At lvl 41 i have around 1500 hp, every hit can kill me^^

Btw, use the Reflect Skill if the other player is your or above your level.
