I need a very honest and educated opinion on whether which is the best bow build,

2:1 Strength
70:70 (Eventually 80:80) Hybrid
Pure Strength
2:1 Int

There is no actual best bow build. 1:2 INT hybrid is close to 70:70. Pure STR has very nice crits and can tank and stun with the new skills.

Personally, the 70:70 is great for me. The overall damage is very high and crits are nice too. Pure STR might be slightly better in PvP then 70:70, but 70:70 is amazing in PvE.

STR hybrid bow was proven to be good by liquidsmooth. But mind you, he had fantastic gearing. A pure STR might work even without full blued gears: a STR hybrid not.

undutchable, bakafish etc have got godly gear too =p

but it's true, str hybrid hasn't been proven with average gear

So 70:70 would need average EQ like PURE or ....BETTER

You like unique kills? Go full str.. you can argue full int can deal more dmg, but they just don't have enough HP. They have to be weary or swipes, aoe, other mobs, etc. 70:70 is good, but you have to work for it, it takes more gear and they do accel higher at some aspects like longer fights etc.

But trust me, you won't find many.

I know that full int does fine on uniques from Isy and below. You can survive the first few spawns and then on the later spawns you can stand back from the mob. And you do more damage than a pure str bow.

I don't know how things are for Lord Yarkon yet ... but will let you know how that goes when I have the levels to try.

Nah... bows are made for criting, I'll make a video of my little pure str archer with a shitty bow soon .. so we can compare to undutchables 70:70 fully pimped gear/bow

ideally, pure str i think isn't as effective as 80:80 bow build with a max blue +5 bow with a average crit 10, but if you are able to afford +6 or +7 with crit 10 or higher then maybe you wud chose pure str since you are able to produce enough non-crit dmg, but with a +5 crit 10 blue bow i rather go 80:80. Just my opinion, obviously i can't afford all the +7 stuff hehe. But 80:80 bow build is a rly rly gud bow build if you can only afford +5 max blue stuff..........

i always loved my pure int bow
