Why is it so hard to get a build right?

Everytime i start a new character, i keep second-guessing myself as to what i should be. Theres always someone your level that can deal that little bit more damage and yet they're the same build have the same weapon, armour.

you never know if you have the same armor or weapon.
theirs might just be better and you just don't know it. xD
but yeah.. everytime you lose you always wanna get better so make it your motivation. =]

when i first started everytime i lost i would question my build too >.< and wander if i should make a new character but it doesnt matter...there will almost always be someone stronger than you unless of course you are the strongest but chances are that wont happen so just dont worry bout it...they might be higher lvl using lower lvl gear or something..you never know

also, all attacks have an attack range. So maybe you're just hitting your lower range while ur opponent is hitting at the higher range at the time you used his dmg to judge against yours. Disregard it and just stick with the build you have fun with.

Not to forget, there will always be ppl weaker than you.

don't restart a millions of time, maney friends of mine did, and now they are all retired of sro, they don't wanna do those low levels again

i made something like 3 *real* chars (not counting the 2 first lv 23 characters),
first pure str glavie (awefull skilled )
1:2 int hybrid sword (awefull build ) i did liked it tho
farmed 85k sp and atm hybrid bower
damn i like it, but don't think it's the only build i want to play
