Gap or no gap?

I just started an European Warrior with Bard as sub-mastery.

And i wonder, should i make a gap, and if i should, how big?

I do not want to SP farm until Lv 52 and Penons, i get enough of that on my Chinese character.

But i also want to keep my character strong, always have my attacks Upped to the max and i want to keep Warrior and Bard close in levels.

So should i make a gap? and if yes how big?

Thanks in advance.

Increase your gap as you go, so when you find yourself out of SP increase the gap, smaller the gap the better for euro since armor is affected by mastery levels.

Or you should NOT upgrade your mastery when you have no use to.
Example, at level 17 you get a new warrior attack skill. Your at level 14 with a mastery of 14. Don't touch your mastery till level 17 and continue doing that.

2-3 gap is good.

I'm playing rogue now, with few levels of cleric (just to get defensive spells, without really investing much SP) and I'm lv 18... I keep my rogue mastery at 2 levels lower than character level (now it's lv 16) pretty much all the time, and it's going very good so far...
I have nice amount of SP, and I guess it's gonna stay that way, maybe sometimes increasing the gap to 3.
